Resident Evil 10 is reportedly aiming for a 2029 release

Resident Evil Requiem hasn't launched yet, but already leaks have started to emerge about the sequel, Resident Evil 10.

According to reputable leaker Dusk Golem (ie AestheticGamer), who was the first to break Leon Kennedy's return, Capcom is aiming to launch the sequel no earlier than 2029, just three years from now.

The “gap” between RE9 and RE'10 (although it probably won't be called that) is a bit shorter than usual (assuming RE10 doesn't get delayed too, it's currently targeting a 2029 release date, but could be delayed to 2030, 2031 at worst, up to the whims of the game), and he's had time to cook for RE9, X.

Requiem was reportedly scheduled to launch in 2025

The reason for the shorter gap between the games this time, Dusk Golem claimed, is that Requiem was originally supposed to be released in 2025, with DLC to follow in 2026, bridging the gap between RE9 and the rumored remakes of Code Veronica and Resident Evil 0. However, due to internal delays, Resident Evil Requiem and 10 are now much closer together.

“RE9 was delayed in development a few times,” Dusk Golem said. “Apocalypse aimed for 2023, then Requiem aimed for 2025, delayed to 2026.”

There have been rumblings of a Resident Evil 5 remake thanks to an ESRB rating, possibly throwing a wrench into the Dusk Golem leaks, but the rating isn't new, and it's not just for RE5.

“RE5, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2 got weird new ESRB ratings last year, almost a year ago now,” he said. “These have not manifested into anything yet.”

It's possible they're tied to an anniversary, as Resident Evil 7 also received a new rating around the same time, but it doesn't appear to be connected to any upcoming remakes.

Dusk Golem has been on top of Capcom's development timeline so far, so if all goes well it looks like we'll have the Code Veronica and 0 remakes to look forward to next, with RE10 just around the corner after that.
