The Suitor: Beyond Journey's End began airing its second season on January 16, 2026. Months before the anime had even aired, there was a lot of excitement among fans due to how excellent the first season was. When the second season premiered, it did so in subbed format, which is the norm.
Frieren Manga announces indefinite hiatus
The Suitor manga isn't coming back anytime soon.
While most fans have no problem with this particular version, there are some who prefer the dubbed version. For the first few weeks there was no news on when the English dub would be released, but thankfully Crunchyroll posted an update.
The Bachelor Season 2 Dub Release Date
According to the website, The Suitor Season 2 English Dub will start airing on February 6, 2026. The second and third episodes will premiere simultaneously on February 13, 2026. Crunchyroll also shared the voice cast for the dub, and it's available below:

The Friar season 2 only has 10 episodes
Most fans are already aware of the episode count for the second season of The Friar: Beyond Journey's End. The new season will only have ten episodes, which is a massive reduction from the first. Many fans were upset with Madhouse's decision to only have 10 episodes, but the studio made the choice after long and careful consideration. If the new season had been long, then it would have come too close to the manga. This would be a huge problem, especially since the manga is on indefinite hiatus. With all that in mind, it's safe to say Madhouse made the right call.
Despite the lower number of episodes, the new season is still of the best quality, and that's thanks to Madhouse. The studio has a history of producing great adaptations, so it's no surprise that Frieren's second season is already among the top-rated anime on MyAnimeList.
Frieren Manga return date
Currently, there is no news about the return of the manga. Since it went on hiatus due to the health of the writer and illustrator, it will be several months or maybe even years before the series returns. However, all fans support the break, as they want both Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe back to full health.
