Lyle in Code Vein 2 is one of many heroes that have been sealed across the map. After defeating him, similar to all other heroes, players will find his fading ribbon, which they will not be able to interact with at this time. His fading bond quest is quite short compared to the other heroes, but the boss fights are still just as challenging and can take many tries, especially if the players are underleveled. How to Repair Lyle's Fading Bond (Lyle Quest Guide) in Code Vein 2
Once the fight is over, fast travel to MagMell and go back to 2187: Free Exploration Era. Fast travel to Forward Base One: North Mistle, and you can find Lyle there. Talk to him and he will mention making a grave.
Return to the present and make your way back to the same Mistle. This time you will find a glowing item next to the grave ie Lyle's Rusty Sword. Grab it and interact with the fading tape to go back to the past.
Once upon a time, fast travel to Pioneer Castle and talk to Craigwhich is next to “In front of the command room” Mistle. He will mention that there are more threats to deal with, and Lyle has made his way to a mine northwest of here. After the sequence, Craig will join you, and you must make your way down to the entrance of Sealed large mine.
Enter the mine northwest of Pioneer Castle to find Lyle inside, and you'll need to explore the dungeon. There are some chests with Formae and weapons along the way, so be sure to pick these up if you want to try them out. When you reach the blocked path, interact with the band to play a memory and prepare afterwards for the boss fight.
After defeating the boss you will get Pioneer Queen Imogen (Blood Code) and will enter into a summoning pact with Craig. You will also get Guardian trophy/achievement. Now you can go back to the present and make your way to Pioneer Castle. You will get “An immortal promise” trophy/achievement along the way.
There should only be one Mistletoe you can fast travel to, and once you reach the area outside the cocoon, go down the elevator on the left. Talk to Craig, and he will join to help you free and defeat Hero Lyle.
Make your way to the cocoon and unseal it to initiate the boss fight. The first phase of the boss fight is not that difficult, but the boss can close the gap in an instant. He boosts a lot in the second phase while doing attacks all over the area, so you always have to stay on your toes. After defeating him you will get Hero Lyle (Blood code).
You will get “A journey beyond measure” trophy/achievement for defeating Hero Lyle, and his fading pawn quest will be complete.
