In every Soulslike game, players will encounter locked doors that require keys to open. Code Vein 2 follows the same pattern, and players will encounter a locked door fairly early in the game. During the tutorial portion of the game, when players travel with Noah, their main goal will be to get to the MagMell building.
While following the main road, players may notice a large tower on the right side that appears to be locked and cannot be opened without a key. Here's how players can find the key to open this in Code Vein 2.

Where to find Forma Storage Tower Key in Code Vein 2
When interacting with Form the Storage Tower for the first time you will see a pop-up window on the screen saying so a key is required. If you interact with it a few more times, Noah will suggest that the key may be in the surrounding area and that you should look for it. If you searched the area and did not find the key, do not be confused, as the key wasn't there in the first place. Your partner uses the same voice line when you encounter a locked door that requires a key.
The key to the Forma Storage Tower is tied to the main story of the game. After reaching the MagMell building for the first time, you will be properly introduced to Valentin, and he will ask for your help. You must visit two excavation sites: the ruins and the water treatment plant. Both of these areas contain dozens of enemies, so it's best to do so upgrade your weapon and equipment from Jadwiga before you leave.
You can also change your appearance at the table to the left of the building. Go left from Mistle, go up the stairs and go left through the door to see the blue door curtains. Inside, you'll find a room filled with dressing tables.
Once you visit both of these locations and clear out the enemies, you must defeat bosses that hold Formae needed by the NPCs from MagMell. After completing this request, go back to Valentin, and he will give you the key to the towerand mentions that it is an archive where Formae are stored.
You can now head over to the Forma Storage Tower and open it to complete the first segment of the story.
