When you first begin your Minecraft journey, you may be tempted to create a simplistic square of crops, with little or no decoration. This is where Classic Cobble Farm comes in, as you can improve even the most rudimentary farms with just a few natural resources.

Minecraft - Best Auto Farms

Minecraft: Automatic farms that every good home needs

Every perfectly situated home in Minecraft should use automatic farms, and these builds are the best.

After mining for a small amount of cobbles, simply surround a circular field with various tiles, solid blocks and stairs. You can even equip this field with torches or lanterns to fend off menacing monsters.

Plus, this pattern is easy to repeat, meaning you can create large patches of farmland, each with its own area.

Natural farm

Another version of a great starter farm leans more towards a natural aesthetic and surrounds your crops with wooden fences and various flowers and leaves. Similar to the cobblestone farm, simply surround your chosen crop circularly with various natural materials and lanterns to ward off monsters.

Remember to always leave room for water sources, as your soil will dry out without the proper amount of hydration.

Cottage Core Farm

If you would rather surround your crops with a fence, then this cottage core could be the perfect choice for you. Instead of just surrounding a square of plants with a fence, we recommend creating unique shapes and decorating the edges of each of your plots.

Although Minecraft can feature a world made entirely of blocks, to create aesthetically pleasing structures you want to avoid building in a geometric grid, so generating asymmetrical plots will really make your buildings look beautiful. Finally, adding lanterns or a custom tree can further differentiate your farmland.

This farm combines three different squares of crops, with a living area under each field. The fields are raised above the ground with stone, creating plenty of space to create a living area underneath that includes natural light.

If you ever need more interior space under the yard, you can always add extra layered fields and thus increase your living space and harvest.

Cottage Leather Farm

If you've been playing Minecraft for a while, chances are you've seen compact cow farms that effectively kill the animals to harvest their beef and leather. These 1×1 spaces use water, or simply compact space, to send the cows out without you having to lift a finger.

But these accessories can be incredibly ugly, so creating a structure around this harvesting station can really improve the overall feel of your base. In this tutorial, you can actually surround your cowshed with a small cabin, equipped with a wooden roof and a brick fireplace, all without interrupting the efficiency of the farm's production.

This farm combines three different squares of crops, with a living area under each field. The fields are raised above the ground with stone, creating plenty of space to create a living area underneath that includes natural light.

If you ever need more interior space under the yard, you can always add extra layered fields and thus increase your living space and harvest.

Compact farm

Everyone plays Minecraft differently, and many players choose to only build efficient structures that offer them the maximum amount of resources they need to defeat the Ender Dragon. If you are one of those players, Compact Farm could be the perfect thing to add to your world.

This multi-level structure contains plots of different crops, allowing you to build vertically as high as you want, while containing every crop in the game in a single building. Best of all, this structure is still pleasing to the eye, combining aesthetics and efficiency in a simple tutorial.

Automatic Aesthetic Farm

Similar to the Compact Farm, this simple field of crops combines a beautiful look with machine efficiency, allowing you to instantly collect all your crops with the push of a button. This farm consists of a plot of plants, with a small well in the middle that can be activated to flood the field with water for a short period of time.

The water will cause all your mature plants to grow instantly, allowing you to run through the field and collect your rewards without having to break any of the crops. However, this build can be slightly more difficult than others, as you will need to use redstone to make the well release water at the correct intervals.

Simple farm design

If you're looking for a farm with some vertical appeal, we suggest you get some scissors and build the Simple Farm Design. Although the bottom of this farm may seem incredibly simple, as it is made of simple rows of crops surrounded by paths and fences, the main appeal of this farm is the arches of lanterns, fences and leaves that create a curved design.

Also, by installing some shaders this build will really stand out, as the leaves will sway in the wind and the lanterns will cast a subtle light over all your crops.

Cottage Core Greenhouse

If you're thinking of pollinating your fields with bees, building a greenhouse is a great way to protect these delicate creatures, while creating a unique structure for all your crops. In Minecraft, bees can fly over crops like wheat or carrots to pollinate them, causing the crop to grow significantly faster than it normally would.

But you will want to build a centralized place to house your bees, because you don't want these insects to fly away from your fields and stop your crop production. By simply using wood, leaves and stained glass, you can create a flawless structure that projects beauty from every angle.
