How to farm Omens of Light in Path of Exile 2
Omens of Light can drop from the end chest found in the Abyssal Depths mapswhich you can sometimes find by completing Abyss encounters while completing endgame maps. You can force Abyss encounters to spread across your maps by using Abyss Tablets right before opening a Waystone.
When you clear a map with Abysses on it, you can too encounter rare Abyss monsters with Amanamu's Void Lichborn modifier. These enemies have a higher chance of dropping rare Abyss Omens, but only if you kill them while they are outside of their fog cloud. When you spot one, try to lure it away from the fog before taking it out, and it should drop a rare omen for you.
Note that this method can yield any rare Abyss Omen, and you may not get an Omen of Light right away.
Rare monsters guarding the Abyssal Depths' largest treasure chest usually have a Lichborn modifier.
Agricultural tips

Use Waystones which give Rare monsters an extra modifier to increase the odds of finding an Amanamus Void monster.

Get the Unholy Influence skill in your Atlas skill tree to increase the odds of finding a Lichborn monster.
What are the omens of light for?
When you are active in your inventory, Omens of Light will make it so that your next use of an Orb of Annulment only removes Desecrated modifiers. This is an incredibly valuable effect for late-game gear work, as it removes the most risky element of the process. Having an omen of light to come preventing your items from losing their other important modifiers while allowing you to use desecrated currencies againgiving you a better chance of getting the perfect mods for your gear.
Crafting is even easier if you have an Omen of Abyssal Echoes. This allows you to reroll Desecrated modifiers once after you reveal them.
