Solo Leveling has reached new heights of fame in 2025. Solo Leveling: The Best Villains, Ranked
The Solo Leveling manhwa is full of complex, fascinating villains. These are the best that Sung Jinwoo faces.
In Solo Leveling Season 2, fans got to witness some of the most exciting arcs the series had to offer, and it goes without saying that Jeju Island was the best of them all. This arc featured Solo Leveling's best fight yet, but the Manhwa and Light Novel have even bigger and better arcs in store for fans. Solo Leveling's next animated content might include the second best arc in the series, and that's the Double Dungeon arc. Jinwoo will reach new heights and unlock a new power up and defeat even greater enemies than the Ant King.

Jinwoo will fight tougher fights
Solo Leveling Season 2 was absolutely phenomenal, and while the first half of the season was great, what really stood out was the second part, covering the Jeju Island Arc.
The Jeju Island arc is the most intense anime arc in the Solo Leveling seriesand for many reasons. This arc saw the largest collection of S-Rank Hunters, both from Japan and Korea. Still, all these S-Rank Hunters were quite useless against the great enemy, the Ant King.
The Ant King killed almost all of the Japanese S-Rank hunters, and he also finished off almost all of the Koreans as well. But thankfully, Sung Jinwoo came to the rescue. What then developed was undoubtedly, Solo Leveling's best animated and most intense combat. When Jinwoo took on the Ant King, the story showed how incredible the battle it contains is.
Solo Leveling: All Arcs That Will Be In Season 3
Solo Leveling's third season could be the biggest yet.
While Jeju Island was huge, it will all pale in comparison to the next big arc in the series, which is the Double Dungeon Arc. The Double Dungeon arc will see Jinwoo return to where it all began, and there he will face far greater threats than the Ant King.
Jinwoo will have to fight the system's architect, Kandiaru. Kandiaru is actually going to be quite a tough fight for Jinwoo, especially as he is stripped of his shadow army powers at that moment.
Jinwoo must gain his greatest power yet in the form of Black Heart to win this battle. All this will be thanks to Ashborn, the former Shadow Monarch. Not only will fans get to see a great battle, but the story will reach newer heights that most fans had never even imagined. Solo Leveling is about to get deeper than ever before, and fans are sure to see a lot of exciting content soon.
The Double Dungeon Arc could be adapted into a movie or included in Season 3
Solo Leveling fans aren't sure how the studio will handle the upcoming arcs in the series. Solo Leveling Season 3 has not yet been confirmedso it goes without saying that the future of the franchise is in doubt. Fans are wondering when the Double Dungeon arc can finally be animated.
I am the record of your battles, the proof of your resistance and the reward of your sufferings. I am death, I am eternal rest, I am terror. — Ashborn to Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling Manhwa
right now, Solo Leveling seems to have a movie in the works, but if it will just adapt the next Manhwa arc or if it will do its own thing is unclear. Either way, fans are excited to see what else the series has in store for them, whether it's the adaptation of the Double Dungeon arc, or even something else entirely. As for the former, fans should brace themselves for a spectacle they've never seen before.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while they wait for more news about the third season. There has been no major announcement about a third season so far. Fans can get more Solo Leveling content via the Manhwa.
