Marvel Rivals Fan Imagines What Crossover With DC Would Have Looked Like

While it doesn't quite reach the peak of concurrent players it did when it was released a year ago, Marvel Rivals, for all its warts – and there are a lot of them – is still a popular game, averaging nearly 100,000 players per day on PC alone.

That said, what if NetEase partnered with DC Comics and Warner Bros. instead of Marvel, and the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman and Plastic Man would all fight, skins like Kingdom Come Superman would be sold and the biggest emote is something silly like The Flash does?

I need more Sonic X Justice League content really, really bad

The Sonic team as Justice League heroes has so much potential.

Imagine no more, because a creator has put together some concepts for what DC Rivals could look like, and it's epic.

At this point, DC fans will take what they can get when it comes to game content

Taking to Twitter, creator AnGrey, who specializes in concepts, has released some of his own for DC Rivals, including some great key art of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in Rivals' hyper-stylized look.

The concepts don't stop there though, as AnGrey has decided that Superman and Wonder Woman would be Vanguard characters while Batman would be a Strategist.

Oh, and don't forget the skins, as the creator has taken their original designs and modified them to fit various comically accurate looks, similar to what Rivals has done in blending the two styles.

Of course, no DC team would be complete without the rest of the Justice League, so Aquaman, Green Lantern and Flash have also been included in the follow-up art. Both Aquaman and Flash would serve as duelists in this fictional world. Meanwhile, Green Lantern would join Batman on the strategist side.

And yes, they also have skins, including a Reverse Flash outfit that would almost certainly have to launch with this concept.

Overall, it's a fantastic concept with plenty of work done to make things click within the parameters that NetEase has established with Marvel Rivals, including class roles and comical but still armor-based outfits.

The only shame in all of this really is that it simply doesn't exist, and given the recent gaming options DC fans have to contend with (Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League), it's a shame it's not out.
