When is Ranked Play for COD Black Ops 7 coming out?
Black Ops 7 Ranking Play is set to released with the launch of Season 2 for both Black Ops 7 and War zone. According to the number of weeks that can be displayed in the Weekly Challenge menu and the in-game Battle Pass timer, the release date of Season 2 and Black Ops 7 Ranked Play is February 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT. This is of course without taking into account any delays.
While Treyarch has yet to reveal the rank in an official announcement blog, this information was shared over on Treyarch's Official X account, following the conclusion of the Multiplayer Beta, in a post stating that Ranking Play will launch alongside Season 2. Ranked Play for Call of Duty: Warzone will also start at the same time, allowing both Black Ops 7 and Battle Royale players to jump into the action for competitive play.
What are the requirements for ranked play in COD Black Ops 7?
Right now there are no confirmed details on what the requirements will be to play Ranked Play in Black Ops 7. However, based on the requirements for Black Ops 6the players are coming probably need to win 50 matches in Multiplayer during the current season to participate. When it comes to War zoneplayers will likely need place among the best squads (6 for Resurgence, 12 for Battle Royale) in at least 20 matches to access Ranking Play.
