More Pokemon Gen 10 details and early screenshots leak online

A new batch of material said to be from an early generation 10 build Pokémon games have appeared online. The leaked content includes a decidedly bizarre Pikachu animation, a massive urban metropolis, and what could be the first look at the Gen 10 Pokemon Professor, among other things.

Information about Game Freak's Gen 10 titles has gradually emerged following the October 2024 “Teraleak”, which led to many of Pokémon the developer's internal documents are published online, possibly as a result of a data breach. Subsequent reports suggested that the upcoming games may be titles Pokemon wind and wave or Winds and waves.

Another party alleged Pokemon wind and wave material has surfaced as of late December 2025 via multiple sources. Among them is a short animation of a level 30 male Pikachu that has a shiny glow and appears to pulse, with his individual body parts gradually changing form. The source of this particular leak described the disturbing creature as a “majin Pikachu.” Majin, which literally translates to “demon being” or “devil being”, was previously rumored to be the codename for Gen 10 Pokémon the game's fighting gimmick. The mechanic may be connected to some sort of “weather movement,” according to a machine translation of a previous leak.

Latest Pokemon Gen 10 Leaks Roundup

A much simpler explanation for the bizarre Pikachu leak is that it depicts a model and animation test rather than something intended to be part of the Gen 10 games as is. But the appearance of such an atypical Pikachu may lend support to an earlier report that claims Pokemon wind and wave would offer endless variations of selected species. As unconventional as it seems, the kind of freeform model distortion seen in the late December 2025 leak could potentially be a method by which Game Freak implements such a system.

Pokemon Wind and Wave will reportedly have at least one massive city

Another image from the latest wave of leaks shows a character exploring what appears to be a large, densely built city. While the environment uses distant LOD models that were apparently drawn in the early stages of the rendering pipeline, the graphics are detailed enough to reveal an eclectic mix of architecture, ranging from modern steel and glass skyscrapers to more traditional landmarks, such as a concrete structure with a pagoda-like tower placed near the center of the leaked screenshot. A Charizard is also seen in the picture. Although the player character is only shown as a silhouette, they appear to be riding a scooter-like board, supporting a previous leak that claimed Gen 10 Pokémon game would include Rotom Scooter traversal, similar to the Rotom Bike featured in the Gen 8 titles, Sword and shield.

The third image seen in the new wave of leaks is described as a depiction of the Gen 10 Pokemon Professor, who appears to be an elderly man. While the illustration is largely a silhouette, it was augmented with a face painting, revealing a bushy beard and two equally unruly eyebrows. Like its predecessors, the new Pokemon Professor is expected to guide the protagonist throughout the game's story. He is even rumored to drive a car in the Gen 10 games.

The final part of the leak shows an early rendered pipeline screenshot of a Pokémon Center located on an idyllic tropical island. Its presence suggests that this could be one of the 15 or so larger islands located on Pokemon wind and wave. The games are expected to include many additional smaller landmasses, with the total number of islands estimated at around 54. Previous leaks also indicated that procedurally generated islands may be part of the package, complementing Game Freak's hand-crafted locations. The Generation 10 Pokémon titles are expected to be announced on next year's Pokémon Day: February 27, 2026.
