LEGO Spider-Man 3 set for January 2026 punches above its weight and it's worth more than the asking price

For the most part, Spider-Man has experienced massive success on the big screen, making him an ideal candidate for some licensed LEGO set. The first two Tobey Maguire films are beloved because many fans grew up with them, where both the costumes and the music are iconic. Andrew Garfield's movies may have been flawed, but they had their strengths, like Peter's jokes being on point and the Gwen Stacy storyline hitting hard. Then there are the hugely successful Tom Holland movies, which have taken advantage of all the opportunities the MCU offers. With all this in mind, it's a little strange that LEGO has chosen Spider-Man 3 for the next set, although it makes more sense the closer fans look.

Manufacturing Spider-Man 3 appealing must be a tough task even for the creative minds at the LEGO Group, as it's by far the least popular Spider-Man movie ever released. Studio interference led to an overly busy movie with too much going on, as there were three villains for Peter Parker to deal with. None of these plots felt particularly satisfying, with only Sandman coming close, as the New Goblin and Venom arcs were terribly rushed. Add in Peter and MJ's relationship being more frustrating than ever, some hilariously weird dancing from an emo Peter Parker corrupted by the Symbiote, and a major miscast for Venom, and it's no wonder this movie was a disappointment. Yet these issues are handily avoided by the new LEGO set 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man Vs. Sandman, and considering the price tag, it even manages to be a must-buy.

Per tile fanatic, this Spider-Man 3 released on January 1, 2026.

As the name suggests, Sandman steals the show

The set in question focuses on the three-way battle that serves as the finale of Spider-Man 3with decor straight from the movie. The black ribbon left behind by Venom, which binds light and beams together, is present, as is a sandy base with a label on the scene in question. The coolest thing about the set, though, is how it captures the shape-shifting villain Peter Parker had to fight. As fans of the divisive film (or any other Spider-Man media, really) will be aware, Sandman can grow to be incredibly massive if he comes into contact with large piles of sand, making him much more difficult for the wall-crawler to deal with. This is exactly what happened at the end of Spider-Man 3and by extension that is what the set represents.

The version of Sandman included in this set isn't just a minifigure, as he acts as a massive prop that takes up a large portion of the screen. He has his own base and several slanted pieces to stack up, reflecting his increase in size, while some huge sand claws cover his hands. Although a minifigure is technically present, since his chest and head are the standard measurements for LEGO figures, all these accessories make him a large centerpiece instead of a small part of the set. Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man represented via a traditional minifigure (the same as seen in the previous sets based on the Raimi films) only makes the Sandman's scale more impressive, and assembling the large version of Flint Marko should prove to be a lot of fun.

Venom is this LEGO Set's secret weapon

But to properly capture this three-way conflict, Venom is needed. Fortunately, LEGO fans hoping to see him will get their wish, as he is also included as part of the set. What's particularly interesting about this minifigure is that the Spider-Man black suit has been coveted by LEGO collectors for ages, as there are only custom versions of Peter in his Symbiote suit. Then Venom's lacquer luster Spider-Man 3 The design was basically the black Spidey costume, only with a monstrous alien head instead of Peter's mask, this minifigure will be perfect for custom LEGO creators. Now all they need is a black mask to trade for the Venoms, with potential trades from Far from home Stealth Suit mask for Spider-Man Noir. For those just looking for Venom, however, this minifigure gets the job done, as his toothy mouth is on full display.

Also included are some tendrils that can be attached to the back of the Venom minifigure, which is a nice touch that Lethal Protector fans will no doubt appreciate.

With three LEGO minifigures, one with extra bells and whistles and another that has been highly sought after, this pack is already impressive. But when builders see the price tag, they will likely stop looking at the flaws Spider-Man 3 and will just see a cool Spidey themed package for a shockingly low price. This brand new LEGO set costs just $24.99, and when you look at everything it includes, it's shocking that it's selling for such a low cost. The full list of features for this Spider-Man vs. The Sandman (vs. Venom) lineup is as follows:

  • 201 pieces

  • 3 minifigures

    • A special version of Sandman that can build up to be quite large

    • A webbing for Spider-Man and tendrils for Venom that create the illusion of a fight

  • A stage with bent lampposts, scaffolding and webbing as decor

  • A branded black display base

This pack will be discontinued on December 31, 2027, which could make it one of many rare LEGO sets.

While a 201-piece set will only keep LEGO fans busy for about an hour, the friendly neighborhood hero's fight against these Spider-Man 3 villains that double as a great screen make it more attractive. Not only will the entire build look great and be something worth giving up, but it's hard to deny the value, as this particular set is bigger and more detailed than other sets with a similar price tag. Sure, it may be an homage to a movie that few Marvel fans pay homage to, but it still looks phenomenal. And since it has some cool perks for hardcore collectors, like an elusive transformed Sandman or a Venom design that's a real step up from a black suit minifigure, this impressive set is definitely worth a pre-order. After years of waiting, the LEGO Group is finally wrapping up its tributes to the Raimi trilogy, and it certainly looks like the final film's set was worth the wait.
