Naruto characters who can lead their own series

Naruto is among the few anime series that has an excellent cast of characters. Masashi Kishimoto worked on them, which is why they are so exciting for readers. But there is a downside to having so many phenomenal characters in a series, and that is not being able to give them all enough screen time.

Naruto: 8 Characters Who Came To Respect Naruto

Although these characters were not fond of the young knucklehead ninja to begin with, they came to respect Naruto over the course of the story.

It's really frustrating for the fans, because they want to see their favorites in the story. However, there isn't much they can do about it except wonder how things would be if their most beloved character were to lead a series. With that in mind, here are a few Naruto characters that could easily be the main cast of their own series.

This post contains spoilers for Naruto.

Hashirama Senju

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

  • Kekkei Genkai: Wood Release

Hashirama Senju was the first Hokage of the Hidden Blade, and he founded the village together with Madara Uchiha. Since Naruto takes place many years after Hashirama's death, many details of his past are unknown, such as how he died, how he met Mito, and how he dealt with the grief of losing so many family members and friends.

Hashirama's series can also delve into his strength. After all, he is one of the strongest ninjas in history and one of the two people to be given the title of “God of Shinobi”. It might even cover how Hashirama mastered Wood Release and his Sage Mode.

Minato Namikaze

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

Minato Namikaze is widely considered to be the fastest ninja in the series. His insane speed was due to the Flying Thunder God technique, originally developed by Tobirama but perfected by Yellow Flash. At the peak of his powers, Minato was so feared by the other Shinobi nations that they had issued flee-on-sight orders to their soldiers.

Naruto: Each main character's age, height and birthday

Naruto's main characters are among the most iconic in anime, so let's go through their birthdays, heights, and ages.

Minato's story is complex, but many of the most important details have been skipped over entirely. He checks every box for a protagonist who can lead his own series. Hopefully, Kishimoto will write a prequel, covering Minato's story extensively.

Kakashi Hatake

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

Kakashi Hatake became the strongest with the Mangekyou Sharingan in both eyes

Kakashi Hatake is one of the most beloved Naruto characters. He caught the audience's eye with his charming yet humorous personality. Since his debut, Kakashi has become one of the most famous characters from the series. It's safe to say that no Naruto fan would complain if Kakashi got his own series.

It may cover Kakashi's childhood days and his relationship with Sakumo Hatake. The series was actually even able to reveal Sakumo's full strength and how he became so famous. Kakashi's story may also cover his days at the academy and his rivalry with Might Guy in detail.

Jiraiya

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

Jiraiya

Jiraiya was a member of Konoha's legendary Sannin, who helped the village secure many important victories. Despite being so strong, Jiraiya's role was primarily that of a mentor. He was responsible for teaching the likes of Minato Namikaze, Nagato Uzumaki, and Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto: Oldest Villains, Ranked

Some Naruto antagonists have been around much longer than others; here are the oldest villains that have appeared throughout anime and manga.

Most fans would agree that a story entirely focused on Jiraiya would be nothing short of amazing. It would give readers a better understanding of his early life, when he was considered a weakling. It could also cover his relationship with Orochimaru, whom he considered a close friend. The series could also delve into his solo travels and missions; after all, he is the ninja with the most confirmed missions.

Itachi Uchiha

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village, Akatsuki

Itachi was the prodigy of the Uchiha clan, which is why he was held in high regard by his parents and everyone around him. Despite being showered with continued praise, Itachi never became arrogant. He remained humble and tried his best to avoid fights.

Itachi is easily one of the most popular Naruto characters, so there is no one who would mind seeing him as the main character in another series. A separate manga about Itachi could easily cover how the constant exposure to destruction affected his thinking. Also, it may reveal his relationship with others other than his family, such as Shisui, Kakashi, and Izumi. The series may also focus on Itachi's early days with the Akatsuki.

Neji Hyuuga

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

Neji Hyuga naruto characters who could lead their own series

Neji Hyuuga is one of the few characters that Kishimoto gave a wrong ending. When he debuted in the story, everyone was impressed by his strength. Neji was a key character in the Chunin Exams and the rest of Part 1, but he faded into oblivion in Naruto Shippuden.

He was a genius who was abused by Kishimoto and killed in the most bizarre way. For this reason alone, Neji deserves to lead his own series. One where his past could be properly explored, and how he completely changed his philosophy after encountering Naruto.

Maybe guy

Affiliation: Hidden Leaf Village

Might Guy solo akatsuki Naruto

Might Guy might not be the coolest character in Naruto, but there's no denying that he's among the most entertaining. Guy is a Taijutsu genius who mastered the eight gates and even managed to keep up with Kakashi Hatake.

Due to the overwhelming number of characters in the story, Might Guy didn't get nearly enough screen time, which a separate series could fix.
