This post contains spoilers for Naruto.
There is no shortage of iconic characters in it Narutobut only a few come close to the spectacular Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi was introduced in Part 1 and made an immediate impact on viewers with his soft-spoken attitude. Kakashi served as the teacher for Team 7, who went on to accomplish great things. The team consisted of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Leading such a team required excellent leadership skills, and thankfully Kakashi had them.
Gojo vs Kakashi: Who is the Stronger Sensei?
Gojo and Kakashi both have unique methods of teaching. So which of the two is a better mentor?
However, Team 7 was not always strong. Naruto and his teammates had to train rigorously to become powerful enough to save their village and the rest of the world. By the beginning of the Fourth Great Ninja War, all three had mastered several techniques, allowing them to fight some of the most dangerous enemies in Naruto. At the time, Kakashi was known as the weakest member of the group, but he received a major power-up that completely changed his strength.
Kakashi received six road chakra from Obito
After Black Zetsu betrayed Madara Uchiha, the seal containing Kaguya Otsutsuki was released and she was once again free to run riot. Fresh from their dominating performance against Madara Uchiha, Naruto and Sasuke were confident that they could stop Kaguya. But it soon became clear that their power was nothing compared to Kaguya's.
She was armed with several powerful abilities, such as Amenominaka and All Killing Ash Bones. With Amenominaka, Kaguya could change dimensions and catch her opponents off guard. For example, she can change a normal dimension into one full of magma, causing her enemies to lose their footing and fall to their deaths. Meanwhile, All Killing Ash Bones was able to kill her target with a single hit. Once a person is struck, no amount of healing can stop them from dying. Kaguya was also nearly impervious to ninjutsu, so most attacks didn't hurt her. Given her insane arsenal, Team 7 was rightfully worried about her threat. Thankfully, they got a big boost when Kakashi received the Six Paths Chakra from Obito Uchiha.
Kakashi's Susanoo was overpowered
-
Kakashi's Susanoo was armed with the Kamui shuriken
-
Kakashi could use both variations of Kamui
In addition to the Six Paths Chakra, Kakashi also gained the Mangekyou Sharingan in both of his eyes. Since Kakashi had both eyes, he was able to summon Susanoo, which was powered by the Six Paths Chakra, making it strong enough to withstand Kaguya's attacks. What set Kakashi's Susanoo apart from the rest was the Mangekyou shaped shuriken.
I have many things that I want to protect as a Shinobi. – Kakashi Hatake
Once all of Susanoo had been summoned, he conjured several shuriken that had the same shape as his Mangekyou Sharingan. He would then shoot them at his enemies, and they would cut the target. Unlike regular shuriken, these shuriken would begin warping the victim into the Kamui dimension. The ability can change the tide of battle instantly. For example, if Kakashi's shuriken touched Naruto, the latter would have been sent to the Kamui dimension, and he would be stuck there forever. Sasuke would suffer the same fate, though he was eventually able to escape due to his Rinnegan.
Kakashi had access to both Kamui eyes
Kakashi could use Kamui as much as he wanted
At this point it is obvious that Kakashi's Susanoo was the strongest in Naruto. However, the Fourth Great Ninja War version of Kakashi had two more devastating abilities at his disposal. As previously mentioned, Kakashi only had one Mangekyou Sharingan for the majority of the series, so he could only use the long-range Kamui. He would aim at the target to form a barrier around them and finally send them to the Kamui Dimension. Kakashi was also able to send himself to the Kamui dimension to avoid incoming attacks.
When Kakashi gained the second eye in the fight against Kaguya, he was able to use the short range version of Kamui. He used the second version to send parts of his body to the Kamui dimension, making him intangible. The combination of the two Kamui versions made Kakashi so dangerous that it was almost impossible to counter him.
Kakashi's trump card was his intelligence
He had elite problem solving skills
-
Kakashi was a child prodigy
-
He blew past all the exams at the academy
Kakashi certainly had access to some of the most incredible abilities, but none of them come close to his intelligence. From a young age, Kakashi displayed his sharp intellect and fascinated his peers and teachers. In fact, he made the Academy and within just a few years he became a Jonin. One of the main signs of Kakashi's intelligence is how he mastered the Sharingan despite not being an Uchiha.
Kakashi almost always took the cautious approach, carefully laying out a plan to handle a precarious situation. He analyzed the situation and acted after coming up with a strategy that would save him. Given Kakashi's intelligence, there's no denying that he would have remained one strongest character in Naruto if he had kept the Six Paths Chakra and Mangekyou Sharingan.
