The Diablo 4-inspired checkerboard, chest and Bloodied Wolf pelt players can enter World of Warcraft are quite nice, which has left many fans upset that they are locked behind a pre-order of another game.

Diablo 4 Season 11's biggest mystery has been solved, and players will want to find out for themselves what rewards they can earn from this event.
WoW Fans Upset Over D4: Lord of Hatred Pre-Order Home Furnishings
Pre-orders for this new expansion are now available, but some of the perks of buying it have caught on Diablo 4 some flak from an unexpected place: the World of Warcraft community. Among many other benefits for Diablo 4 themselves, players who buy Lord of Hate unlock the Wolphisto rug, a chest and a heaven and hell themed chess set as premium decor in World of Warcraft. These cosmetics are of exceptional quality, but the fact that they're locked behind a $40+ purchase of another game has made some fans more than a little angry, with at least 100 comments across Wowhead and Wow forums expressing their displeasure.
Among the three decor pieces, the game of chess is by far the worst offender. The heavy one Diablo the theme of the Wolphisto mat and chest make these items most attractive to fans of ARPGs. But the chessboard is general enough that even players who don't like it Diablo would like to have it. Worse, there are no other chess decorations in it Wow still, making this the only way for players to get this type of deck in their houses right now.
Unfortunately, it gets even worse. Hype over Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred has caused the pre-order site to be unreliable since it was revealed at The Game Awards, and those who have managed to purchase it have had issues with these new decor items not appearing in World of Warcraft; an issue that Blizzard is aware of, but may take time to resolve. Additionally, it is currently unclear if there is any way to obtain duplicates of these items, and in order to obtain a house, fans must also purchase World of Warcraft: Midnight as well as Lord of Hatemeaning a minimum of $90 is required to actually use these items.
This is not the first time Diablo 4 has included limited time World of Warcraft goods in their pre-purchases. The Amalgam of Rage used by Astaroth was temporarily available as a mount in World of Warcraft by pre-ordering Diablo 4and again to celebrate Wow20th anniversary last year, but beyond that, there has been no way to get hold of this rare item. Players can similarly expect these home decor items to be unobtainable after this promotion, unless it brings them back for a limited time later.
Like I said, it Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred pre-orders have many great benefits. Beyond Wow Home Decor, the standard edition of the expansion also includes a Stash tab, two character slots, the The ship of hate expansion, and early access to the Paladin class that was shadowdropped in Season 11. The Deluxe Edition also includes the High Heavensguard cosmetic pack for Diablo 4s new Paladin class, the Skatatan Basilisk Mount, the Premium Battle Pass Bundle and Skorch, a Mini Chimera Pet, while the Ultimate Edition adds a host of extra Celestial cosmetics, as well as 3,000 Platinum.
