Fortnite leak reveals Home Alone Crossover

There is no shortage of iconic Christmas movies from Fortnite to take inspiration from for some timely collaborations, and this year it might just be to create a partnership with one of the very best. Probably next Fortnite collab will see characters from the beloved Alone at home series going into the Battle Royale game – although it might not be the one players want the most.

Fortnite has no shortage of holiday-themed cosmetics, with just a few of the dozens of seasonal skins being:

  • Red-nosed Raider

  • Crackabella

  • Grimbles

  • Cutiepie

  • Sgt. Winter

  • Polar patrols

  • Blinky

  • Mr. Dappermint

  • Polar Peely

  • Winterfest Bushranger

In addition to these original designs, Epic Games has begun utilizing holiday-themed collaborations, such as Jack Skellington from Nightmare before Christmas will be added to the game as early as 2023. It looks like another fun collaboration could be in the works for Christmas 2025, as according to leaker @blortzen, who has proven himself reputable in the past, Home Alone's Wet Bandits could be coming to Fortnite in the near future. It's important to note that @blortzen said they would take the information with a grain of salt, as is wise to do with any rumor, although they also stated that they trust the information they've received.

With Nightmare before Christmas since it's both a Halloween and a Christmas movie, maybe Jack will return to the movie Fortnite Item Shop in the near future, although this is pure speculation.

Someone who knows Alone at home will surely be fond of the Wet Bandits, as the likeable thieves were second only to main character Kevin McCallister in terms of popularity. It's unclear if the game models for Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) will boast the likenesses of their actors, but given how battered characters can come in Fortniteplayers should have no problem recreating some of the duo's hilarious fails. They would certainly make great NPCs as well, as they could offer appropriate tasks that see players survive traps and recover from damage. The Alone at home house would also be a good POI, although there's no telling if it's coming to Fortnite's island to celebrate the collaboration, as the skins are only rumored at this point.

Address the troublemaker in the room

Obviously, if the Wet Bandits come to Fortnitenext question Alone at home fans will inevitably ask if Macaulay Caulkin's Kevin will be coming to the game as well. Unfortunately, the beloved youngster was left unmentioned in the leaker's post, suggesting that only the antagonists to Alone at home coming to the game. While this will no doubt be disappointing to Christmas movie goers who wanted to gun down their opponents as Kevin, it makes sense when you consider what the character's in-game model would look like.

While Fortnite certainly have some size differences between their character models, Epic Games has been careful to never go too far in either direction to avoid any hitbox advantages or disadvantages. It is for this reason that some characters are shrunk or remade, such as Peter Griffin having his normal appearance replaced by a muscular build. Considering Kevin isn't even 10 years old Home Alone 1 and 2unless Epic gave him a weird growth spurt, he'd simply be too small to turn into a purchasable Fortnite skin. While maybe Epic could get creative and give him a mechanic like it did with the Morty skin, Kevin doesn't come from a sci-fi franchise where that kind of technology is warranted. Realistically, there's just no way to bring in a normal kid like Kevin Fortnite.

Still, for those not put off by the lack of Kevin McCallister content in this rumour Fortnite crossover, it is safe to assume that the package will arrive in late November or December. Perhaps Kevin could be represented via some rear bling of his Talkboy block player, although it's likely that the Wet Bandits will be the focus of Fortnites potential Alone at home crossover.
