Geoff Keighley's Big Annual 'The Game Awards' Livestreaming is happening again this year to celebrate all that is great in the video game space. Not only will we see tons of exclusive trailers, gameplay, and world reveals, but we'll get to see what the jury has decided on what is “best” video games of 2025as well as a bunch of other categories, like Best Soundtrack, Best Story, and Best Voice Acting.

Predicting the Game Awards 2025 Game of the Year nominations
Geoff Keighley has announced that the nominees for The Game Awards will be revealed very soon, and there are many options for GOTY 2025.
Game Awards 2025 start time
The Game Awards 2025 will begin with a 30-minute pre-show on Thursday, December 11 at 4:30 PM Pacific Time / 7:30 PM Eastern Time. The show itself should start around 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET. The opening usually still has some announcements, so if you don't want to miss anything, be sure to tune in early.
These shows tend to last three or four hours (there are very of advertising!). so we expect the show to end at least at 21:00 Pacific Time / 12:00 Eastern Timebut you never know with Geoff Keighley!
