Lost Quotes is a walking story in Where winds meetwhere players must find three volumes of Master Miaoshan's quotations for Huijing in the Bodhi Sea. The game offers no quest markers to guide players to the location of these three items, leaving them to mostly fend for themselves aside from some vague clues.

Review of Lost Citations
Huijing Location
Go to the location marked on the map above to find Huijing walking next to a large building. Talk to him to find out that he is looking for three lost volumes of Master Miaoshan's quotes and needs you to find them for him. The only clues he gives are:

Maybe greedy people found them. Maybe thieves stole them. Or maybe they are somewhere the Buddha wanted.
The three clues presented about the locations of the lost quotes point to where players should look when searching for them. One book is in the possession of a “greedy person” and can be taken back from them, one book was stolen by thieves and can be retrieved from their lair, and one book is in a holy place. Here are the locations.
Lost citations 1 Location
From the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost, go southwest to find a stone stele in a clearing. Read the inscription, and it will tell you: “Bow with sincerity and look at the sun at the hour of Wu.”
Use the in-game clock to change the time of day Wu hour and perform the bow twice on the green carpet nearby. If done correctly, a treasure chest at the foot of the stele will burst open, containing Miaoshan's Quote 1.
Lost Quotes 2 Place
Directly north of the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost (west of the Teleport stone) is an NPC named Wang Erstanding on the edge of the cliff overlooking the nearby landscape. Use Celestial Seize to steal Miaoshan's Quote 2 volume from his possession.
Lost Quotes 3 Place–
Go to the location marked on the map above to find a cave entrance at ground level, heading deep underground. The cave is inhabited by Aureate Pavilion guard enemies. Defeat them all and you will find Miaoshan's Quote 3 on a wooden box next to a campfire it's just to the right of where you fight the Aureate Commander.
