Best places to farm rope in Arc Raiders

IN Arc Raidersplayers will need to scavenge, fight and craft if they want to survive on top. This means that you need to acquire a large amount of items to help you create gear that gives you an advantage.

One item worth picking up is the rope, which seems pretty harmless at first glance but is a key component used to make the two best transition options in the game. Here's everything you need to know about hunting rope, what it's used for and how you can buy it.

Where to find rope

If you are looking for Rope, it is classified as a residential and commercial property. This means it has a higher chance of appearing in places of interest with the person or arrow icons. Because of this, you will want to focus your hunting on any location that has this type of material, as it will make your farming much easier. The places I recommend looking for Rope are:

  • Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses and Plaza Rosa in Burried City
  • Village in the Blue Gate
  • Cultural archive in Stella Montis

Of the locations listed, I highly recommend starting your search in Buried City. The southern part of the map is great for hunting any residential or commercial item. Specifically, Grandioso Apartments and Plaza Rosa are my preferred locations when I need to find a rope.

Focus on looking in all cupboards, drawers or cupboardsas these often have the best chances for this item to spawn. It's also worth looking through all the unnamed flats scattered between the main locations, as they are usually filled with residential or commercial items.

Be careful around Plaza Rosa, as there is almost always a Bastion or Bombardier roaming this area!

Alternatively, some other solid options are the village in the Blue Gate and the cultural archive in Stella Montis. The former has a nice density of two to three floors you can raid that often have a lot of containers. This location is quite safe, as it boasts a lot of protection from ARC or enemy players, making it ideal for soloing.

Conversely, Cultural Archives is certainly the most dangerous place on this list, but it can have some really great rewards. Not only are there a comical amount of breakable boxes, but the point of interest is huge. That said, you should fully expect to encounter lots of ticks and at least one Shredder when exploring this area.

How to buy rope

A player looking for Rope to create a Snaphook in Arc Raiders.

If the prospect of digging through someone's home doesn't strike you, you can always buy rope from Celeste. This supplier will sells you up to 5 reps daily for 10 different seeds each. Although you are limited to 5 per day, just casually playing the game is often enough.

However, since rope is used to make both the Zipline and the Snaphook, it can be quite easy to run out of it. Because of this, I suggest you always buy a couple of ropes every day, to ensure you always have a full stock! Remember that you actually need to get the Snaphook Blueprint to craft it, so Rope might not be as critical a resource if you haven't found it here yet.

Speaking of crafts, Rope cannot be manufactured, and nothing is recycled into ropeso be sure to snag it when you come across it in the wild!
