There are many different things that are included Fallout 4's Creation Club Content. There are robot companions, extra armor, extra missions and, of course, new weapons. When you download the content, these weapons don't just magically appear in your pocket. You usually have to complete a quest to get them.
Fallout 4: All Byte Quest Walkthrough
Unlock a robotic canine companion.
So you have to put some effort into adding them to your arsenal. While not all of them are worth the effort, some certainly are. For example, you should really go out of your way to pick up the following weapons.
Ultimatum
|
How to unlock |
|---|
|
Loot it from Wally Mack's body during the Tunnel Snakes Rule mission. |
Ultimatum is one of the best handguns in the game. That's it a variant of the classic 10 mm gun. Like that gunit's a nicely balanced weapon with good range, rate of fire, accuracy and damage.
However, this version is extra deadly because it deals an additional 50 points of radiant damage in addition to its standard damage output. That means it goes from a fairly powerful gun to a powerful one. In addition, it has many cool engravings, which makes it nice to look at as well.
Cosmic Cannon
|
How to unlock |
|---|
|
Find in Hub 360 at Hubris Television Studios. |
The Cosmic Cannon looks a bit like a toy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it makes it unique among the other weapons in the game. But it doesn't just manage on looks. The gun is very effective, with impressive damage and high rate of fire.
But what really stands out about the gun is how you can change what type of weapon it is. Depending on the barrel you attach, the can be a cryo, laser or sonic boom blaster. This makes it a very versatile gun.
Alien Atomizer
|
How to unlock |
|---|
|
Pick it up from an alien body in the Over the Moon mission. |
The Over the Moon mission is pretty wacky, as it lets you fight aliens. These creatures have some special weapons, such as the Alien Atomizer. That's it an energy type weapon which delivers a serious blow. Even the strongest enemies struggle to survive a few blasts from this weapon.
By default it uses the hard to find alien blaster rounds. But thank God, you can modify the gun to use fusion cells instead, which is much easier to obtain. This makes the weapon a viable option in most scenarios, rather than being saved for the big fights.
Lucky Manwell Carbine
|
How to unlock |
|---|
|
Pick it up next to a hunter's body during the Quantum Stag quest. |
The Lucky Manwell Carbine isn't the flashiest weapon you'll ever see. After all, it just looks like a normal carbine. Looks aren't everything when it comes to guns though. This gun is incredibly effective.
It has decent range and accuracyso you can pick people off at a good distance. Plus, the damage is very impressiveespecially therefore critical shots do double damage with this weapon. And the critical meter fills 15 percent fasterwhich is another nice bonus.
Ghoul Slayer Heavy Incinerator
|
How to unlock |
|---|
|
Complete the Crucible Quest. |
Based on the name “Heavy Incinerator”, you can probably assume that fire is involved in this weapon in some way. You would be right, like this beast unleashes balls of fire at the enemy. These projectiles explode on impact and set the area on fire.
It can be a very deadly weapon, but you have to get used to firing it, as the fireballs don't just shoot straight ahead. Instead, it hurls them into the air to come down on the enemy, meaning that aiming with this machine isn't always easy. But once you get the hang of it, that's it very fun to use. It's also the Ghoul Slayer version even more deadly when you use it against ghouls.
