The November 2025 Xbox Partner Preview included a look at a number of brand new games and titles that will finally make their debut on Xbox platforms, with 9 new games set to join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Gamers have three different Xbox Game Pass subscription tiers to choose from, and while the Ultimate tier may be the most expensive, it includes the largest game library plus a variety of day one launches.
Despite the recently announced price changes for Xbox Game Pass, the service remains incredibly popular, with fans appreciating the frequent additions of new games and the inclusion of Day One launches that make the subscriptions worthwhile. The 9 games confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate include Day One releases such as third-person roguelike shooters Armatusthe stylish action platformer Crow wornthe surprise sequel with dual protagonists Raji: Kaliyugaand the fun co-op alien simulator Roadside research. Two games were shadowed during the presentation, with players able to immediately download and play the survival slot roguelite The clover pit and an unexpected horror game with sound design talents Silent Hill legend Akira Yamaoka, Total chaos. Both the voxel adventure sequel Echo Generation 2 and surprise Vampire Survivor deck builder Vampire Crawlers was heralded as “coming soon,” while the isometric voxel western Erosion is planned for a special Xbox Game Preview, launching in spring 2026.
A total of 16 games were showcased during the presentation, and the fact that over half are coming to Game Pass has been met with celebration from Xbox fans. As of November 2025, several new games have already been added to Game Pass, and the double shadow release plus the confirmation of multiple Day One launches looks set to keep players invested in the platform well into the new year.
From PC-exclusive ports to Day One games coming to Game Pass, Xbox has continued to prioritize its subscription service. The added bonus of all games under Partner Preview is Xbox Play Anywhere, which means players can seamlessly transition from playing on their PC to their Xbox Series X to a supported handheld system, further trying to draw in more players looking to take advantage of the new launches coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
