Genshin Impact Leaks 3 New Characters For Version 6.3

According to a reliable source i Genshin Impact the team at HoYoverse adds three new characters in version 6.3: Columbina, Zibai and Illuga. As of version 5.3 2025, Genshin Impact is aiming for a strong start to 2026 by adding three characters to the roster. While version 5.3 was led by Mavuika, the star of version 6.3 is intended to be Columbina – the Moon Maiden of Nod-Krai and former Fatui Harbingers. Columbina is expected to be a 5-star Hydro Catalyst that provides buffs to Lunar Reactions, but version 6.3 may have more in store for players than just the debut of a capstone to Nod-Krai teams.

The second half of version 5.3 was hosted by Lantern Rite, and the same schedule applies to version 6.3. As such, it is expected to introduce one more new Liyue character Genshin Impactand all rumors point to it being Celadon Mare, an Adeptus with ties to the Frostmoon and to Istaroth. While previous speculation placed Celadon Mare as an Anemo character, the truth may be different than what most players initially assumed.

As revealed by Uncle Kokomi via the development build of version 6.3, the upcoming patch will introduce Columbina, Zibai and Illuga as playable characters. The leak was backed up by several sources i Genshin Impact community, and while leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, Kokomis' track record speaks for itself. Apparently, Columbina in Genshin Impact will be a dedicated support for Lunar Reactions, with her hydro damage comparable to Furina in terms of production. On the other hand, Celadon Mare will be introduced as Zibai – a 5-star Geo Sword hypercarry for the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. Given Columbina's role, it's safe to assume that she and Zibai will have synergistic kits.

To complete the trio, Genshin Impact will also reportedly introduce Illuga, a 4-star Geo Polearm, whose ability kit will support the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. Illuga was previously mentioned by Varka and Flins during the Archon Quest in version 6.1, and he has been described as an exemplary member of the Lightkeepers. Given his ability kit, it's safe to assume that Illuga will be Zibai's favorite teammate. Assuming Kokomi's information is correct, version 6.3 will likely debut in Columbina in the first half, leaving the second half to Zibai and Illuga. As one Genshin Impact character from Nod-Krai, it is unlikely that Illuga will feature in the 2026 Lantern Rite selector.

Notably, version 6.3 will also introduce another new map expansion Genshin Impactimplying that players will not be able to pre-farm these characters. Official information on Columbina, Zibai and Illuga should come out in early January 2026, although public data mining should be available just before December 3, 2025.
