Miyamoto took to Nintendo's Twitter page to share three images from The Legend of Zelda movie, which features Link and Zelda in costume, and offers the best look fans have seen of the actors in character. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth takes the role of Link and Bo Bragason plays Zelda. Although both are relative newcomers, the two already have several solid acting credits, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth even voicing Pinocchio in the 2022 live-action remake starring Tom Hanks.

When casting for the film was first announced earlier this year, some vocal fans were upset that Hunter Schafer would not be playing Zelda, but based on the photos shared by Miyamoto, Bragason could be a strong fit for the role. The three images are simple shots of Link and Zelda standing in a large field, but between the costumes and the overall look of the actors, the sneak peek holds plenty of classic The Legend of Zelda energy.

The film may still be a year and a half away at this point, but Miyamoto's official images are an exciting glimpse into what to expect.
