IN Arc Raidersthere are a surprising number of secrets, puzzles, and other activities players can complete to earn some sweet, rarer loot. The vast majority of these puzzles are remarkably easy to complete on paper, but due to the presence of other raiders, there's a good chance you may have to fight someone for your gear.
One of the most dangerous and conflict-ridden puzzles is the infamous Red Room located on The Blue Gate map. Here's what you need to know about finding, completing and surviving this fiendish puzzle.
Where to find the Red Room Puzzle
Similar to the color matching puzzle, The Red Room puzzle is located in the tunnels below the enhanced reception interesting site. Located in the northern part of the map, you need to go to the reinforced reception and enter the large stone building. Take the zipline all the way down, then follow the thick blue line on the floor through the door on the left.
You will eventually be led to a hall with a massive metal door (shown above) to the right with a battery disposal area next to it. This is the entrance to the Red Room puzzle. Similar to other puzzles, the physical location of the Red Room will not change, making it both easy to find and tricky, as players like to set up ambushes here.
As for ARC enemies, expect to see a mix of Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops in the various corridors.
How to complete the Red Room puzzle
To open the door to the Red Room, you must deliver three batteries to the deposit right next to the door. Thankfully, those batteries aren't actually that far from the door. You can tell where the batteries for the Red Room have been created, due to the machine having three red lights and being interactive (shown above). However, the batteries will store your weapon and severely hinder your movement while carrying them. There are two potential spawn locations for the batteries.
They are:
- From the room you entered via the zipline, take the first door on the right. You will find the battery dispenser right along the door below the yellow graffiti.
- From the room you entered via zipline, along the wall under the stairs where the red graffiti points towards.
Once you find where the batteries were created, you need to carry and insert three of them into the machine next to the entrance to the Red Room. Doing this activates the door switch and everyone can enter. Keep in mind that you will be completely vulnerable while carrying the batteries, so keep an eye open for other attackers who might sneak up on you.
The Red Room's door can only be opened from the outside, meaning someone can lock you in the Red Room if you loot and there's nothing you can do to escape. If you are alone and especially unreliable, make sure to get in and out quickly. The last thing you want is to become someone's prisoner and lose everything!
When you enter the red room, you are free to loot and take anything you want from the many containers in the room. There's a guaranteed weapon case, plenty of high-end gear, and players seem to have a good chance of finding blueprints, epic materials, and some really good weapons. While I think this puzzle is worth completing if you have the time, you just need to be vigilant so you don't get trapped in there.
