Xbox Game Pass last lost Return to Monkey Island, Metal Slug Tacticsand Exactly on October 31. Although the next wave of departures has yet to be officially announced, the “Leaving Soon” section of the Xbox app was already updated with a preview of the upcoming catalog rotation.

The recently revealed takedown registry consists of five titles: Football Manager 2024, Frostpunk, Spirit tea, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyland Master Blacksmith. The Xbox app shows six items because Sports Interactive lists the PC and console versions of its soccer management sim as separate entries on the Microsoft Store, rather than as different versions of a single game. Football Manager 2024 stayed on Xbox Game Pass for a full year longer than originally planned, after its sequel was canceled due to development challenges linked to the series' transition to the Unity engine. Before finally leaving the XGP directory, Football Manager 2026 will join the service as an initial version on November 4.

Blacksmith Master's Xbox Game Pass departure may have been listed in error

Master Blacksmith was only added to Xbox Game Pass on August 19, making it the most unexpected inclusion in this wave of departures. While there is some (limited) precedent for titles leaving the service after only a few months, this is rare for day one releases. Such short availability is most often seen with 2K titles (most recently, Borderlands 3), while indie games generally remain on the platform for at least a year. Given these patterns, it is possible Master Blacksmith was listed by mistake.

Final confirmation of Xbox Game Pass removal in mid-November is likely to come next week

Historically, the “Leaving Soon” section of the Xbox app has not been a completely reliable indicator of upcoming removals, due to either incomplete lists or occasional inaccuracies. Final confirmation of Master Blacksmiths status is expected around November 4, when Microsoft will likely reveal the full directory rotation agenda for the first half of the month.

While the Wave 1 lineup has yet to be officially announced, over half a dozen titles have already been confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2025. The most notable among them are Call of Duty: Black Ops 7which will be launched on November 14. Looking further ahead, day one titles Threat and High on Life 2 have recently been confirmed for February 5th and February 13th respectively.
