A working RV is essential to safely take you and your teammates to the next location in the physics-based survival game RV there yet?and nothing puts an end to the journey faster than a broken or damaged engine.
Whether you've taken a slide down rocky terrain or a swipe from a bear, your RV can only handle so much before your engine is the next thing to be sacrificed in the pursuit of adventure. To avoid ending your trip prematurely, you need to learn how to fix your engine and also when repairs are needed.
How to find oil
A bottle Engine oil can be found in the campsite when you spawn into your game.
Engine oil is available on control points and interesting places; however, it is not guaranteed. You have to decide when to use the oil you have or if you think you can go a little further.
Whenever possible, make sure you have enough room for engine oil in the RV, as this is only way to repair a damaged engine. Secure it in a cabinet so it doesn't roll around while you're driving.
If your engine breaks down, unfortunately for you and your crew, it's time to start all over again.
How to repair your engine
First of all, you need to know when your engine needs repair, and this can be easily detected by the motorhomes damage carried at the top of the screen. Should the bar show REDyou know your engine has taken some kind of beating on your trip, and when you can, you should address it engine oil.
Second, you need to know where the engine actually is. It is cleverly hidden under the bed on the back of the camper, andaapproaching the bed allowing you to open it and reveal the heart of the vehicle underneath. With engine oil in hand, use the prompt given (on PC this is left mouse button), and voilà! Your engine is back in perfect condition and ready to tackle the next leg of your journey.
