PowerWash Simulator gave us a much-needed relaxing cleaning experience, and PowerWash Simulator 2 is no different. There are 38 levels to explore and clear, with three types of power washers and new ways to scale the heights of these unconventional locations.
But while the story mode levels are both fun and replayable, we can't help but consider the likely upcoming DLC. The first game featured such diverse crossovers as Back To The Future, Warhammer 40,000, Spongebob Squarepants and Tomb Raider. With this in mind, we allowed ourselves to imagine all the other things we really want to clean up.
Star Wars
To turn the dark side into the light side
I can think of nothing more satisfying than cleaning up some of the most iconic ships and locations in the Star Wars universe. I don't need to see all the characters, or have something connected to a storyline. All I need are some space-worthy ships and my trusty power washer.
You wouldn't even need to add too much dirt if you took inspiration from the movies. From A-Wings to X-Wings, every ship in Star Wars looks like it has decades worth of dirt on it. I imagine the Death Star in particular would be incredibly annoying and yet extremely satisfying to clean.
Lego
Clean whatever you can think of
There are many Lego crossovers but all we need are these simple colorful bricks. There are so many things you can do with them, and in a digital world where the bucket of blocks is endless, the only limit is your imagination. If you could craft something and then clean it, we'd be even more impressed, but we'd settle for cleaning ready-made creations.
Washing down a Lego city sounds like a great way to add another dimension to the powerwashing experience. We already have so many vehicles and houses and making them out of Lego is a way to make them even more unique. Extra bonus points if I can clean a double-decker sofa.
The Lord of the Rings
Wipe out the enemy, with water
Fantasy environments offer a wide variety of beautiful buildings ready to be cleaned. Final Fantasy gave us some neat experiences, but cleaning places like Rivendell and Hobbiton from The Lord of the Rings would surely take the experience of winding down a fantasy world up to 11.
It's not just the majestic buildings either. There are weapons of war that could do with a scrub, as well as beautiful Elvish boats, the doorway to the Mines Of Moira and many other iconic items. We'd love to clean up the Dark Lord's mess with a generous amount of soap and water.
Cars
Lightning fast cleaning
Pixar is a studio that has provided a wide variety of iconic characters and locations. While we'd happily dig into any Pixar movie setting, the one that stands out the most is Cars. Can you imagine cleaning down a car, dirty with dirt from a race or a session of tractor tipping, only to have them thank you afterwards?
With Cars, you're not just cleaning a vehicle, you're helping someone get back into full racing shape. Especially Mater always seems to be able to do a good cleaning, and I'm happy to help him. Flos Café and the deli would also be fun to clean. Let me flush radiator springs.
Animal Crossing
Taking cleaning to new horizons
In keeping with the theme of cleaning up vibrant and colorful locations, we'd also love to see an Animal Crossing DLC. Recognizable buildings like Nook's Cranny, Blather's Museum, or the Able Sisters store would be fun to clean, and you can pull from different iterations of Animal Crossing to find extra buildings or vehicles.
In particular, New Horizons features a seaplane and a boat, along with campsites, villagers' homes and the iconic town hall. Who wouldn't want to clean up the city before KK Slider? It's just a new twist on the theme of the original quest chain, and one we'd love to experience.
Kingdom Hearts
Many places in one
We've already had Final Fantasy DLC and mentioned several Disney series we'd like to see, but what if we could combine them all into one massive DLC covering a variety of worlds, characters and iconic weapons? Well, we could if we take advantage of Kingdom Hearts.
Fortunately, in PowerWash Simulator you wouldn't have to understand the series' unconventional naming scheme, or the overarching plot that has more branches than an Ent. All you have to do is show up and clean up. There are so many unique, recognizable and immersive worlds in Kingdom Hearts that it would surely keep any cleaner happy.
