Beldum is a mysterious Pokémon that was introduced in Generation III, and for a very long time it was one of the strongest Pseudo-Legendaries thanks to its combination of Steel/Psychic types. IN Pokemon Legends ZAit evolves into Metang, gains even more strength, and becomes that later Metagrossa powerhouse that can measure up against the strongest Pokémon on the roster.
But Metagross is not the end of the line for this incredible Pokémon: Mega Metagross is back for revenge in Legends ZA. And if players are wondering where to get Beldum and how to evolve it to its final form, they'll find all the information about spawn locations, Mega Stone location and stats in this guide.
Where to catch Beldum in Pokemon Legends ZA
Beldum is one of the few endgame Pokémon that players won't be able to find until they unlock Lysandre Labs, which happens during Main Mission No. 35: To reach Rank A. After talking to Grisham and entering Lysandre Labsplayers should head to the purple area in the far western corner of the map, and they'll find a spawning ground for Beldum and sometimes Metang there.
It is highly recommended that they save the game before entering the room, as Beldum has an extremely low catch rate, and getting one will be really hard on the first try. It's also worth noting that Beldum is a relatively heavy Pokémon, so using a Heavy Ball is one of the best choices to increase the chances of catching it.
How to Evolve Beldum in Pokemon Legends ZA
Beldum evolves at level 20 to Metanglearn Confusion and Metal Claw, and when it reaches level 45, it evolves into Metagross. Metagross is a solid physical attacker, but it also has some good defensive traits and some extra special attacks. Metagross evolves into Mega Metagross by making it last Metagrositisacquired at Quasartico Inc. for 360 Mega Shards (unlocked after mission 30).
Metagross BST (Base Stat Total) is 600, which changes to 700 when it evolves into Mega Metagross. These statistics are broken down as follows:
-
HP: 80 (+0)
-
Atk: 135 (→ 145)
-
Def: 130 (→ 150)
-
Sp. Atk: 95 (→ 105)
-
Sp. Def: 90 (→ 110)
-
Speed: 70 (→ 110)
As players may have noticed, Mega Metagross gets a significant stat boost on all stats (except HP), which lean more on the side of physical attack and defense.
The ideal Moveset for Metagross/Mega Metagross consists of: Thunder Punch, Zen headbutt, Bullet Punch (or Psycho Cut), and Iron head. Remember to use Miracle Seeds to turn these moves into Plus Moves, which are stronger and even more if they are super effective.
