Overwatch 2 Make some changes to how mythical heroine is unlocked, with purchasing now after a specific pattern that should help players feel more satisfied when buying each level. These basic changes to the mythical skin locking system come in Overwatch 2 Season 19 on October 14, starts with Divine Druid Lifewear.
Mythical skins in Overwatch 2 are adaptable cosmetics that are unlocked with mythical prisms, a special type of premium currency. From Overwatch 2 Season 12's mythical skin for Reaper, these cosmetics has followed something called the Evolution Paradigm, which means that mythical skins seem to be “leveled” with each level, which grows more powerful and detailed as you progress through the battle pass.

But as explained in a new Overwatch 2 Developer update, this made some fans feel that the earlier levels of these premium leather were not exciting to unlock or use, which led to a massive review of this system in season 19. As explained by gaming producer Ren Soanes at 5:30 Overwatch 2 Will now follow a new pattern: The first level will include the entire bass with special visual and sound effects, and the second level unlocks customizable parts, for example Divine Druid LifeWeaver's flowers. The third upgrade will unlock all color variants, while the final level adds extra visual effects.
Mythical aspects will still require players to buy all four levels before they can be purchased for a mythical skin.

It is currently unclear whether this new system will affect Old Mythic Cosmetics, but it does not seem like it, as this would require a lot of work that mixes around functions on the previous 18 skins. Instead, fans should expect mythical skins to follow this level pattern with Divine Druid LifeWeaver in Overwatch 2 Season 19 onwards.
Season 19 also breaks the form with mythics in another large way. For the first time in history, Overwatch 2 Releases two mythical heroine during one season, with Cyber Fuel Junkrat which comes during the mid -season update. It remains to be seen if this irrevocated skin is an outlier, or if every season will now have two mythical heroine.
Note that Kiriko also gets a mythical weapon skin this Overwatch 2 Season called Spirit Keeper, with blazing blue flames, a special flowering and a vulpine death effect. The lockable levels for mythical weapons leather do not change from patterns used by these premium cosmetics earlier, so fans can expect future mythical weapons leather to continue to function in the same way. That said, with three mythical skins in season 19, fans will have to be much more picky with their budget for mythical prisms from Overwatch 2 Premium Battle Pass.
