Game Rant was able to independently verify the recently dotted layout surveys. Anyone can do it by taking up developer tools with SH2 The site is open in all modern browsers and using the Inspect Element feature. According to the Cached website data reviewed by Game Rant, four column layout is not a new addition to the goal page. The very first version of the site, which went live immediately after the late 2022 announcement of Silent Hill 2 Remake and its timed PS5 console exclusivity had already included the two extra columns, but they were undetected until now.

Although Konami has not yet confirmed the game for any console in addition to PS5, the Japanese publisher previously emphasized that its timetable exclusivity agreement with Sony lasts only 12 months. The move signaled plans to expand the game's availability later. In recent years, Konami has shown signs of moving away from exclusivity agreements, most recently exemplified by Silent Hill f Launch at the same time over several platforms at the end of September 2025. Silent Hill 2 Remake can therefore be the series' final time console exclusive in a while. Its additional ports can be announced as early as October 8, 2025, when its PS5 console exclusivity is scheduled to end.

Two other franchise posts are currently known to be in development: Screen burner Silent Hill: Townfall and bloober team's Silent Hill 1 remake. No specific platforms have yet been confirmed for any of the project. City Expected to be the first to hit the market – possibly as early as the end of 2026 and sees how it has been in the works since at least 2021 – but it does not yet have a fixed release date or window.
