Ghost of Yotei Make many bold changes from its predecessor. Not just jumping the sequel 300 years before Ghost of tsuhsimaBut it introduces a whole new protagonist: ATSU. Like the main character in Ghost of YoteiATSU had the difficult task of following Ghost of TsushimaJin Sakai. The two are different in many ways, and thankfully her differences are a strength.
ATSU's different motivation and characteristics could have done Ghost of Yotei not feels like one Ghost of Tsushima Sequel at all, but this is definitely not the case. Ghost of Yotei and Ghost of Tsushima Share a spirit, but Atsus's story allows the former to stand on its own. Even more exciting is Attsu officially the newest addition to Playstation's long list of mandatory protagonists, but she also continues an important trend for the console: she adds the growing list of complex female leads.

Of course one leads as War godS kratos, Nathan dragon in Uncharted 4Peter Parker and Miles Morales in Marvel's spiderand Away away daysDiakon St. John has helped build the last decade of Playstation as well. However, the last ten years have also been defined by wonderfully written stories led by women.
Female characters are nothing new in play. Lara Croft, Samus Aran, Jill Valentine and Cortana are just the tip of icebergs. However, the big difference with the last decade is that the writing for these characters has become much stronger, and it seems to be a common trend in Playstation exclusivity.

This is a solid list that ATSU is now a part of, and it is also an exciting glimpse of how complex women lead to games. What is so good about these characters is that they are far from perfect. Chloe Frazer is witty and lovable, but she is also ruthless and selfish. Aloy is a strong and resourceful character, but she is arrogant. Ellie and Abby's stories in The last of us part 2 Continue to create debate among fans, as they are probably some of the most morally complicated double main characters to reach the industry. When it comes to Selene, her intelligence and driving force are an important part of her, but her release from her son is also a crucial trait.
At the beginning of Ghost of YoteiATSU begins as bitter, overcome by anger because of the murder of her family. But as her journey for revenge approaches an end, she grows softer and lets herself open to others. One of Ghost of Yotei: S's biggest differences from the predecessor are that it replaces Jin's struggle between honor and survival and chooses a story about not only revenge, but also healing.

Right now the most important PS5 exclusives are on the road SarosThe Marvel's Wolverineand Intergalactic. As Naughty Dog's first new IP in several years, the story is led by Bounty Hunter Jordan A. Mun. The game is still shrouded in mystery, but the revelation at last year's Game Awards was an exciting announcement. Only the time will show when Intergalactic Is ready for launch, but when it is, Jordan can join ATSU as the new female protagonist on the neighborhood.
