Ghost of Yotei Has finally arrived, and it has come out swinging, sharpened Katana in his hand. Protagonist ATSU is a compelling and complex protagonist who has proven to be a welcome addition to Playstation's list of exclusive heroes. Ghost of Yotei had a significant challenge in front of it by having to follow a title as loved as Ghost of TsushimaBut the developer Sucker Punch managed to pull it off.
Not only do it Ghost of Yotei honor his predecessor all over the line, but that is a single Ghost of Tsushima in many ways. The differences between Ghost of Yotei and Ghost of Tsushima Do not remove from their affiliated spirit, but the stories are where each title is on their own. IN Ghost of TsushimaJin struggles between honor and survival, while Atsus' journey is defined by grief. Ghost of YoteiThe story of loss is definitely an emotional journey, but it is not exactly something new for the latest Playstation era, and the Atsus story will hopefully mark the end of this trend.

After the Ghost of Yotei, the next round of Playstation-exclusive is hopefully avoided away from sorrow-shown main characters
As much as I love Ghost of Yotei (Which is a lot), ATSU's motivation and emotional pain unfortunately do not feel like a new territory. With Ghost of TsushimaJins push and move between the two roads laid in front of him was a healthy breath, but Ghost of YoteiLoss history has become common in Playstation -exclusive. This seems to have been started in 2018 with the arrival of War god. Since then, several remarkable Playstation exclusivity has been centered around grief.
- The last of us part 2
- Return-
- The war god Ragnarok
The last of us part 2 is one of the biggest of these, as the game's shocking loss starts the rest of the story and its events. Return- remains an underestimated offer that deals with similar themes. Of course, The war god Ragnarok Continues Krato's growth after loss, but it is less widespread by a theme than the 2018 chapter.
There are actually several ways that Ghost of Yotei Feels like The last of us part 2. Don't misunderstand me, I love a game that is not afraid to be a tear-Jerker, but it has also become a little predictable at this time. Now that the PS5 feels like it finally hits its step with exclusivity, the future lineup will hopefully give a rate of pace.

Playstation's upcoming exclusive
- Saros (March 20, 2026)
- Marvel's Wolverine (Autumn 2026)
- Intergalactic: The herethern Prophet (TBD)
From now on, the deeper plots behind these three games remain a great mystery. When it comes to it SarosDeveloper Housemarque has confirmed that the protagonist Arjun Devraj is “a powerful Soltari workman who will not stop to find who he is looking for.” With Housemarque as the same developer who did Return-The Saros Will surely be an emotional journey, just hopefully in a different way.
Insomniac's Marvel's Wolverine And Naughty Dog's Intergalactic are even more mysterious. With regard to the former, Logan is probably on a rampage or revenge mission, while the latter has been confirmed to revolve around a civilization on a planet called Sempiria that has not contacted the outside world of 600 years. It is too early to say what the deeper stories within these three games are, but after Ghost of YoteiI hope there is something new on the horizon.
