Looking at how two love stories slowly go down into tragedies and the hopeful and bright disposition of the main characters develop in bitter struggle, greed and disillusionment are enough to change the heart. At the end, there has been no resolution and only destruction remains. The remaining feeling is regret, because the viewer wonders how things could have been different.

Texhnolyze is a show from the beginning of the 2000s that has a lot in common with the main scraper that Serial experiment lain and Ergo proxy; In fact, the show shares a producer with the former. Located in a gloomy world where technology has advanced tremendously follows the Ichise, a young man who is just trying to survive.
The atmosphere in Texhnolyze is its greatest strength, and in every stage overwhelm the feeling of gloom in Watcher. There seems to be no meaning to anything, and it feels like the characters are suffering from it. This is not a criticism, but rather the reason why the show is so destructive. It is a slow burn, which means it requires a lot of patience.
Bokurano
Children suffering is never painful, even for precious reasons
Bokurano involves a group of children who find a cave and a mysterious man who asks them to play a game. They should piloting a mech that is said to protect the world. They succeed, but the price for that victory is quite steep.
Anime has gigantic robotic battles, but this is not the essence, as the real stars are the children who are all outflowing quite well. When the audience gets to know each character better, the gloomy fate that awaits them all weighs strongly. It is an interesting window in the existential question of humanity and what the price for saving others really is.
Grave of the fireflies
The terror of war
Grave of the fireflies is a leading animation work that is still considered one of Studio Ghibli's biggest films. It tells of a couple of siblings who have their lives destroyed by war and roam in the countryside and try to find some hope for an uncertain future.
What breaks the heart with this movie is that it is based on the real events in Akiyuki Nosaka, the author's life. It does not show as much war acts, but more as the consequences, of which many are soul -intensive. In one of its more notorious scenes, which involves a bombing, it stands out because of how quiet the event is, without fanfare or pomp, which just makes it even harder to take.

Made in abyss Has a misleading art style and some emotional music that can calm one to a false sense of security. The world is big, the characters lovely, but the world's hard truth comes through in a very visceral way.
When the young Riko and her companion, reg, deepen in the abyss to unlock their secrets, they really do not meet what they expected. The factual way in which the characters are treated makes this a very good watch, but far from a comfortable one. Made in abyss Presents memorable characters (for better or worse), and at the end of the first season you will be forgiven for not wanting to go anymore.

The show takes an unclear look at many social illnesses, including bullying, depression and worse. It is almost a blessing that it is only six episodes long, as each section reinforces the grief, and the audience looks at the happy takopia gets a very difficult reality control. The show is incredible and goes after its points on popular anime sites, but it will surely empty a soul or two.
