Baldur's gate 3 goblin bomb bug can dry the entire party and finish your honor run

Larian has officially moved on from Baldur's Gate 3 and of course prevents maintenance. Although we will not see any new features, you can expect occasional update to improve or fix some problems. Although it seems that a special error just won't disappear, a game will be as massive as it will get a few bug to show up, even after two years.

The Patchen on July 31 for the game was supposed to fix the misstiewed character portrait. It not only failed to do it (again), but it seems to have added a whole new error completely. While Portrait glitch was harmless and even fun, the glory of this player destroys the entire team with a single attack.

As revealed by Confidskbm's post on Reddit, players can face a new error near the windmill area in act two, where a Niss who lobbies a smoke poker boom can one-skot the entire party. Smokepowder bombs are powerful, but they are not powerful enough to reduce a companion with full health. So what in Faerun is going on?

Unfortunately for OP, their party stood quite close to each other, which led to a full party drying thanks to the bomb. But it seems that the bomb's injury has been multiplied for some reason. As pointed out in the comments, instead of 3D4+9 injuries, it makes a huge 6D4+18 injury – enough to kill one of your companions.

There seems to be an error in the injury formula in this specific case, which has been pointed out by another player. Goblins has a breeding ability called rage of the small one, which allows them to perform 1D6 further physical damage to enemies greater than them. But because of the error instead of the extra damage Added The bomb's total damage is doubled to the smoke holiday bomb when the rage of the little is activated.

It is unclear if this error currently applies to every Niss in the game, or just this special. Hopefully it is not the previous one, as it will result in many players losing their honor runs thanks to a bomb-happy Niss.
