Helldivers 2 is not at all a “broken” game. However, it seems that it would not take too much more of a technical load to bend it backwards and tear some ligaments, which was discussed in a response that Helldivers 2 Creative director Johan Pilestedt offered in a conversation about Reddit.
This answer has been quite enlightening and says a lot with a little and suggests that a large UI review could take place sometime in the future for Helldivers 2. How this would actually affect the game's user interface is indefinite, for example if additional user interface or quality of life can be provided as a result of an improved system, but there are some areas where a UI update or function that is re-evaluated can help to streamline or reinforce Helldivers 2the entire UX method.
To be fair, an improved UI system may not necessarily mean that large UI reviews would follow, nor would there be any user interfaces or quality of life features integrated as by-products. Instead, the following wish list sees a couple of areas where such an improvement can benefit the game's existing UI/UX.
Extensive galactic war table lore
Helldivers 2The galactic war table is the world championship players who engage in whenever they choose an enemy's faction's planet and choose which assignment should be initiated or join. But another feature that can go unnoticed about the table is that it easily refers to certain events that players have experienced in Celeste and the Orion sectors:

Meridia became Meridian Black Hole in the wake of the Termidid -Supper colony, overcame with the dark liquid.

Ivis, Moradesh and Angel's Ventures Planet Fragments as “remains of [planets] Torn apart by Meridian singularity. ”
Lore is still not extensively detailed on this map, or at least not as much as it could be. For example, the altus and sun sector's glazed planets are delayed there for players who were close to witnessing and reminding them, but new players will see them and be aware of what happened for Mars to be cooked.
It really was Helldivers 2Meridian Singularity Beelining itself against Super Earth that made the ends of these planet, and that knowledge has not yet emerged in the same way as the Loreb descriptions given to Meridia, Ivis, Moradesh and Angel's Venture. Speaking of the war table map, it would be nice if more seemingly various planets played larger roles, even subliminal or implicit, based on what it boasts.
For example, Turing resting near Termid-Occuped sectors gives much more narrative weight to the potential risk of jeopardizing jeopardizing Helldivers 2Xenoentomology Center. These are undoubtedly nitpicks regarding UI updates that the arrowhead could donate Helldivers 2But they would go a long way to make a more complete experience while analyzing through available Lore Etsad over the galaxy. If nothing else, Arrowhead's proposed system improvements can make the war table more fluid and educational.
Warbond completion progress
Another corner that can take advantage of a UI system enhancement may be Helldivers 2Premium Warbond Menus. In particular, tabs between war letters, superstore and super credits are not a job, but the two previous pages are not exactly thorough or user -friendly in their current state.
For Warbonds, players can browse through available “Battle Passes” in the game easily enough, but knowing how many medals have been spent on each one is debatable quite superfluous information. Three bars indicate how many pages there are in each, but it can be more effective to know how many total medals are needed for each page in a Warbond and how many players have spent the total. In this way, players can say whether they have completed a Warbond completely or not before they open it and look themselves.
For Helldivers 2S Superstore, which interacts with content delivered on each page is a fairly buggy experience, where to hold R2 to inspect a armor set, helmet or cape first sends players to the next page and record their inputs that want to switch to a subsequent page before inspecting the item on which it lands. In addition, it can be more ideal if players could browse between daily rotation and permanent Warbond articles as they do with Warbonds on the previous menu tab.
Helldivers 2's democratic exercises are exclusive to discord
Disagreement is something of an unofficial companion app for Helldivers 2Not contrary to how it works for many games 'communities that are either tight or have the pleasure with the direct players' feedback and developer communication. Helldivers 2 Have no reason to move out their democratic festivities from Discord and find a way to fill it somewhere in the game, but there is an argument to do about being essentially active in the game's disagreement for not missing fun events.
PLEESTED's response to Reddit seems to say for sure that Discord will continue to be a second home for Helldivers 2 Community, but perhaps a review of the UI system can make it easier to integrate the two so that no player is left out. In the meantime, it is more likely that an improved UI system can be a blessing for the game's performance, and it will be interesting to see what it might look like when Helldivers 2The UI system is no longer “awkward.”
