As fantastic as Bananza is, but it is not without problems. Not only are some players struggling to play thanks to how easy it is to waste time to destroy everything in sight, but others complain that the checks feel a bit. However, there is a very obvious reason for it and a simple fix to start.

Jump should always be B in a Nintendo game

Given that Donkey Kong Bananza comes from Nintendo, you would be forgiven because you assume that pressing B would result in Donkey Kong jumping, just like Mario and almost all other 3D platforms. In Bananza, however, this is not the case, since B is actually awarded DK's punching.

It makes sense when considering X is used to look up, but all muscle memory that is built up from playing Mario games gets many players to fight with Bananza's control schedule. As pointed out by the Twitter user Nintendeal, there is actually a very simple fix in the game's settings that change everything.

From the moment you start the game, if you go into the alternative menu and browse down to DK's action buttons, you will see an option to change the controls to jump and beat down.
