ODA has already revealed the other son of Rocks D. Xebec, and it's a Yonko

This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.

A bit ELBAF ARC has revealed lots of important secrets for fans already, but one of the biggest came in A bit Chapter 1154, where it was practically confirmed by Oda that Rocks D. Xebec had a child. As most fans had already guessed, Rocks D. Xebec's son showed no one but BlackBeard.

Family

One paragraph: ODA has already revealed Luffy's biggest rival, and that is one of the worst generations

Luffy has a large rival in one piece. This character will be massively important.

This was quite obvious, based on the fact that BlackBeard called its own ship Saber of Xebec and regulates Pirate Island. But even though it is confirmed that BlackBeard is Son of Rocks, it may well be another child of the same legendary pirate who has hidden in ordinary vision, and he also acts as one of the four emperors of the sea, just like BlackBeard.

Rocks D. Xebec could have had more than one child

  • BlackBeard is Son of Rocks

  • Buggy can be rock's second son

A bit Chapter 1154 introduced Rocks D. Xebec properly for the fans for the first time, and this disclosure was, to say the least, significant. Fans know very well that Rocks D. Xebec was a legendary figure in the world about 40 years ago. For a figure like him, it is not a surprise to know that he had children. His first child was revealed to the fans in A bit Chapter 1154, and it turned out to be none other than BlackBeard, one of the current Yonko. Of course, most fans know it now, but there is no evidence that stones had only one child.

In fact, stones could easily have had more children, and Oda seems to have suggested that another character is his son, and it is none other than buggy.

First, Buggy looks remarkable like stones, with the only exception is his red nose. But what most fans don't know is that Buggy's nose is not really right. As shown in a cover request, Buggy's nose can be removed. In addition, One Piece's Buggy Merch has officially confirmed that he is actually hiding his true identity and that his nose is not real.

His real name and true face is still unknown, making him a character that is enclosed in mystery.

Family

One piece: ODA confirms the strongest pirate in the world, and it's not Roger

Roger is strong, but there is a pirate that was even stronger than him in one piece.

Buggy's age matches with good Valley incident

Buggy was probably given to Roger

A bit Fans know very well that both Shanks and Buggy were bred by Roger on his ship. But only Shanks were seen picked up from God Valley, so where did Buggy come from? The answer is also good Valley incident. As revealed in the Kuma flashback, it seems that the reason Rocks went to good Valley in the first place is to get something taken from him by the World Government or the Navy. This can be a kind of kidnapping, and buggy can be the one taken.

If you become the pirate king I become a god! – Buggy

As such, just as Shanks ended with Roger, Buggy could have stopped with Garp. And just as Roger gave Ess to Garp, it could later have given him to rise, and fully knew the government would like to kill him and erase Rock's line.

This would make BlackBeard and Buggy Half Brothers, but even though it is difficult for some to believe, the chance that this is true is quite significant.

A piece of chapter 1155 will be out this week. As usual, a piece will sink on Sunday. In Japan, a piece of 12 o'clock on JST on Monday. But the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on July 20. The official release date for a paragraph chapter 1155 is July 20, 2025.
