In the world of Resident evilBeing employed by the umbrella company is not exactly something to be proud of. After it was revealed that the umbrella pulled the strings behind the zombie outbreak that infected Raccoon City as early as 1998, it would not be long after they stopped closing completely due to the severity of their crime. Although it may be easier to talk about umbrella as a large unit, the truth is, there are several important individuals who played a role in running the organization behind the scenes.

Given that many of these characters' work exposed them to all types of biological upgrades and viruses, this means that many of them ended up being extremely powerful, even though they turned their backs on umbrella later in the series. On the other hand, there are some former umbrella employees who, even though they cannot transform or mutate, have still proven to be strong enough to keep their own against a zombie or two. With that in mind it is time to analyze the strongest Resident evil Characters who worked under the direct command of umbrella at some point in the story. This list will stand for the characters on their top strength, so mutations will also be included.

Luis Serra

Luis is a skilled shooter with pretty trigger finger

Although they are largely faithful to the classic original game, Resident Evil 4 Remake still contained some small changes from her inspiration, one of the biggest were the big tweacs to Lewis's backstory. It is revealed about halfway in history that Lewis actually used to work for umbrella back when it was still active and even involved in the European branch that worked with the infamous Nemesis project.

Although he is clearly not a power center, Lewis has still proven that he is not someone who should be taken easily. Lewis has a dangerous trigger finger, making him a real threat up close, which is shown when he uses his Lethal Red-9 to help take down a swarm of Ganado with Leon. He may not have any transformations in the sleeve to use as a last resort, but Lewis still knows what it takes to survive in a world full of monsters.

Mikhail Viktor

Mikhail struggled with hordes of zombies as long as he could

When Jill encounters Mikhail near the beginning of Resident Evil 3The soldier is already heavily wounded and can barely move. Unfortunately, this means that players may not see him in action so much in a typical Playthrough, but as they read through some files, they will quickly realize that Mikhail is as hard as nails and by far one of the umbrella's most reliable units.

As a member of UBCS, Mikhail was fully aware of what the umbrella did during the Raccoon City fiasco. As a result, he simply earned his duty by protecting as many civilians as possible and putting his own lives on the line to shield the sensible hordes as long as he could. Although he was eventually taken out by Nemesis, Mikhail will always remember as a soldier who fought to the end.

Carlos Oliveira

Only those with bunsolid willpower and determination made it from raccoon at living

There are not many people still around who lived through the Raccoon City incident and can tell the story, even though a side character that managed to escape with his life intact, who has not seen in many years, is Carlos. Carlos was in a similar situation like Mikhail, where he was largely not aware of the umbrella's fault, although he and Jill could escape before the bombs dropped.

Carlo's most impressive achievement will enter Raccoon City Hospital and get a cure for an infected Jill. During this dangerous company, Carlos would shoot down a lot not only zombies, but also hunters as well, which is far from a simple task. Although Wesker could eventually defeat the transformed Sergei after a brutal meeting, it is still difficult to deny that he is not one of the most ruthless and cunning soldiers ever worked under the umbrella.

William Birkin

Birkin injected himself with his own creation to become a furious mutant

Birkin is a bit more than a weak scientist who cares much more about creating biomutants than he does about learning to fight. But after he has been intercepted by a group of the umbrella's agents, Birkin decides to inject himself with the G virus and turn him into a furious mutant enough to crush the average man with his fists.

Both Leon and Claire would be pressed to their absolute boundaries that fight Birkin in their mutated forms, and the researcher manages to take up a fairly significant number of deaths over the course of Resident Evil 2's Story. The gigantic eyeball that gets out of the shoulder can be an obvious weak point, but what makes Birkin so strong is the large amount of raw damage that he can cause due to his enhanced size, strength and speed.

Hunk, who was nicknamed Grim Reaper when he worked under the umbrella, was the company's go-to agent when they needed someone who could carry out a top secret assignment without being killed during the process.

As a result, Hunk has gained lots of experience in fighting all kinds of monsters and mutants. Not only was he there during the Raccoon City incident, but he could even retrieve a selection of the G-virus for Higher-Upps at Umbrella, while he was still fled from the city before the bombs dropped, all by himself. The fourth surviving story in Resident Evil 2 Gives a good idea of how powerful this guy really is, with its unique CBQC fighting style that does fast work of all zombies or people who dare to stand in their own way. One thing is certain: If any of the main characters are forced to come up against hunk in future games, they will have a pretty tough time to take down this legendary former umbrella employee.

Albert Wesker

Wesker would become a superhuman in other words and speed

Admittedly, Wesker only worked under the umbrella for a short part of the story, but it was still where he made a name for himself and came to acquire his prestigious position as a researcher. During the first game, Wesker acted as leader of the Stars team, but secretly worked under order from Umbrella to test the new arches that had been planted in Spencer Mansion. Of course, all this would be terrible wrong for Wesker after he was caught by guard and knife -headed by a tyrant, but if anything, this would prove to be a blessing in disguise.

Wesker would gain superhuman forces after injecting himself with the mutant virus strain, to the point where he could easily kill someone he considered to be an enemy in an instant. Regular people like Chris and Jill could barely even keep up with Wesker when they met him Resident Evil 5To the point where it was pretty much pointless to try to beat him, given that he was always a step forward. Wesker was an unstoppable death machine back in its premiere, and undoubtedly the strongest character in the series that was once connected to the notorious umbrella company.
