It is always frustrating when you have uploaded your ult and waited for the right moment just to meet absolutely nothing. While Marvel Rivals players do not have too much to complain about a game agreement, it seems that the game's sighting system is a bit strange when it comes to Ults. You would think it would be enough to have an enemy in your cross chairs, but some characters Ults work differently, and the game does not say this.

Why do Marvel's rivals insist on making rank games more relaxed?
The new Chrono Shield cards will not solve Marvel Rival's competitive mode problems.
If you hide behind a waist -high wall for coverage, you have no problems with regular attacks, but if you have an ultimate effect, there is a chance that the wall can block it because of where the ult comes from. If you are a Scarlet Witch or Hawkeye Main, you have probably met this problem without knowing it.
Do not use your ult behind the cover in Marvel —rivals
It seems that a player got tired of their Ult wrong in Marvel rivals and decided to do some research. As shown by Blue23454 on Reddit, some characters are blocked if they are hidden behind the coverage, even if it is waist heap. They even published a comparison side by side to show how it works.
“Tonight, when the season closes, I decided to do some science,” said their posts. “The only logical conclusion I could come to is that the emission point must be somewhere between her feet and her waist. Unsatisfied of the answer I sat with, I knew my only course of action would be further testing. And see and see my hypothesis was correct.”
It seems that this issue is not isolated to Scarlet Witch. “Hawkeye actually has the same question,” said one of the comments. “The after pictures in his Ult do not show up if his waist does not have a line of sight with an enemy, which suggests that Hawkeye has been aiming with his balls all the time. I wonder if any other characters have this problem.”
Of course, this traced the whole thread with jokes about Hawkeye's balls and Scarlet Witch behind, but another player tried to give a reason for this. “By using Game Making Logic, it is more likely that it is her waist because most of the video game -character models have a common waist,” they said. “In UE5 you can attach another model and hit the box to the joints. So I guess it is the waist. It is also more accurate because this is the only part of her body that does not move when using her animation ult.”
So the next time you are about to use an ULT area, just make sure there is nothing that blocks your character branch, because that is where all their power seems to be.
