When will the Patch V36.20 downtime start?
Epic Games employees are now back from Summer Break, so players can again expect consistent Fortnite Updates every two weeks. Although players were already aware that Patch 36.20 would be available on July 15, the exact time for the start of downtime would not have been revealed. Epic Games has now confirmed that downtime for Fortnite Patch v36.20 starts at 4th on July 15.
Matchmaking is disabled about 30 minutes before the start of the downtime, so Players should be able to go into their last match at about 3.30 et et et – This is to avoid that all games are left unfinished when the servers go down.

Since this is not a note at the end of the season, players should not expect many delays. But since the game has not been updated in almost a month, it is possible that they may be down longer than usual.
Players can expect downtime to end and Fortnite servers to get back around 6 o'clock, or about 8 o'clock at the latest, two to four hours after the start of the downtime.
