Dragon Age: Veilguard is about Sunas, after Dragon Age: Inquisition put him up as our next antagonist. In the end, we actually ended up with sunbathing in the sequel, but he was still extremely antagonistic, and the story revolved around his plan to restore the world of the ancient elves – condemned those living in the world as now.
But even though Veilguard is about sunbathing, it doesn't mean it's his actor's favorite game in the series. Garethy-Lyyd, who speaks at Power Con in Scotland, says he played through the Dragon Age series, and the Inquisition is still his favorite.
Gareth David-Lloyd loves Dragon Age: Inquisition and has played it three times
During a panel about Dragon Age, colleague Dragon Age asked actor Joseph Capp (who plays Elgar'nan) David -lloyd what his favorite game in the series is, and he was quick to answer: “Inquisition -if you romance sunbathed.”
And he really has – he didn't want to leave any stone unrelection before entering the recording booth for Veilguard. “So I played Inquisition three times and every time I was always friends with myself – sunbathed,” he laughs. “The fact is that the last time I played it, I romanceed myself, which is a bit strange.”

“It's a sad ending, but in my opinion we got at least one”: what Dragon Age Devs and Creators have said about the end of the series
The last few months at Bioware have been chaotic and from the outside, quite confusing. Here is what we can pick up from developers and creators.
With that said, he has played Veilguard, and you will not be surprised to hear that his favorite end is where Sollas may make changes and solve himself. “Despite all his shortcomings and his Trickery, there is a fair good soul there somewhere,” he says.
Elsewhere under the panel, we get a little more insight into the game's development. Here, David-Lloyd said he would originally perform Mocap for Solas, but Covid got in the way. As a result, Mocap was performed by someone else, and he was told to deliver his lines to match that performance. This did not work well, and David-Lloyd was then brought back to record the lines, and the Mocapen was reworked to match him instead.
