On paper, Pokemon TCGThe ex version of Snorlax seems pretty strong. After all, there is a 160 hp Pokémon with the ability to heal 20 injuries from itself at the end of each turn, as long as it is at the active place.

One of Pokemon TCG Pocket's best card finally has a rival
Pokemon TCG Pocket's new Eeevee Grove set adds a card that can finally stand its ground against one of the best in the game.
But current PVP data suggests that Snorlax ex has not had any major impact on Pokemon TCGS Metagame. It has become one of the decent staller-attacks options, thanks to its Chunky HP and heavy strike, but it fails to provide reliable protection against the currently popular cards.
One of Snorlax ex's biggest disadvantages is that it is a Pokémon ex. The problem with Pokemon ex thoughts and stallers is that if they do not survive, they cost the player two points directly at the beginning of the match. This, together with the fact that Snorlax ex has several effective calculators, has driven it to the lower levels of Pokemon TCG Multiplayer.

Based on the latest PVP data, Snorlax is considerably weak against the new Charizard ex and Sylveon ex -tires. The fire psychic duo has won almost 72% of their games against the sleepy Pokemon and shows its effectiveness. Another reliable calculator is the relatively new Nihilego and Darkrai ex combo. These dark-type tires have won about 70% of the matches against Snorlax ex-tires.
Charizard Ex + Sylveon ex
The flexibility and high damage of the fire psychic tire is the key to winning against Snorlax ex. The Sylveon Ex's ability accelerates Charizard ex Evolution, which is further reinforced by Pokemon TCGS rare sweets. You also have A2B copies of Charmander and Charmeleon that enable damage to early play. In addition, A3B Eevee lets you double Sylveon Ex's ability and draw cards much faster than your opponent.
Nihilego + Darkrai ex
One of the best counters for Snorlax ex is the currently popular dark-type tires with Nihilego and Darkrai Ex. These settings married snorlax ex, with Nihilego more poison capacity aggravates the condition. What makes this duo superior to most snorlax ex-tires is its ability to deny Snorlax ex's self-healing effect.
After each round, Snorlax tries to heal 20 injuries from itself. Most Nihilego-Darkrai ex-tires up to 50 chip injuries per lap, excluding the active Pokemon's attack. In other words, Snorlax ex's healing effect becomes essentially useless as the damage it takes is much greater than its HP-regen.
Silvally + Rampardos
One of the best counter -tires in the previous Pokemon TCG Expansion, Silvally-Rampardo's team-up is very effective against Snorlax ex. The tire contains two powerful Pokémon, Cranidos and Rampardos, both with a +20 injury advantage against the combat skeaken Snorlax ex. It also benefits from the Silvally range, known as one of the best low -energy, high -damaged development in the game.
Silvally-Oricorio tires are also excellent counters for Snorlax ex. Most Orricorio tires of lightning strikes work well against this staller because the yellow bird prevents all damage from Snorlax ex while dealing with 50 injuries each round.
Fareon Ex + Turtonator
One of the promising middle tires in the Eevee Grove era of Pokemon TCG Is Fareon Exs Alliance with the classic turtonator. These two Pokemon type of fire-type when degradation of enemy wall-as Snorlax ex-thanks their high damage to early play.
For two energy points, Turtonator handles a 90-injured blow to Snorlax ex, which can be devastating. The only downside is that turtonator throws two energy points per attack, but this is compensated by Fareon Ex's ability. After each turtonator attack, Flaron exhumes ex's combustion capacity a lost energy point, which allows the turtonator to repeat the 90-injury attack and knock out Snorlax ex in a couple of rounds.
Greninja + Sylveon ex
Greninja was almost forgotten until June's Eevee Grove expansion brought it back. It is now one of the best counters for Snorlax ex, thanks to its long -term attack that counts Snorlax ex self -heating. If you put two branch at the bench with Sylveon ex in front, you can handle up to 110 damage to Snorlax ex per tour, which is enough to remove it in two rounds.
It is worth noting that Sylveon Ex + Greninja tires are currently meta's top performance. With a victory frequency of about 53% and a meta -share about 12%, the mental water duo is an excellent calculator for most tires, not just those who have Snorlax ex.
Snorlax ex performance report
- Meta share: Less than 1%
- Winstand: ~ 40%
Things are not looking up for Snorlax ex in the current methane. Despite its potential as a reliable tank, it has not made a significant impact compared to other cards in the category. For example, Pokemon TCGDruddigon had a huge impact on methane when released, which forced many players to use specific shrimp deck. With Snorlax ex, however, things are much less intense. Although it remains a strong staller, there has not been a concrete threat to the top tires or improved them.
Get top level Pokemon TCG Tires currently use Snorlax ex. One reason why this giant Pokémon has not matched the success of cards like Druddigon is the latest meta changes. Players now have many counters, such as the deadly Nihilego and Darkrai Ex Combo, which easily tear Snorlax ex. In other words, Mondame is too competitive for a card that Snorlax to dominate.
Snorlax ex requires two conditions to become a meta-shaking staller: 1) an HP-enhancing Pokemon tool like Leaf Cape to drive its HP longer than 180, and 2) a supporter card to load its attack faster. If these changes occur, Snorlax ex may be a consistent, aggressive tank again.
