Mindseye has no swimming animations or water physics

Often in a video game, especially open world types, one of the first things to test, except how much trouble you can get yourself into, is whether your character can swim or not. When it comes to Red Dead Redemption 1's John Marston, that answer is no. Similarly, Sonic cannot swim either, but that is because his creator wanted him to have something he is bad at.

The water level does not die out, it developed

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is proof that we are too scared of the humble water level.

But when it comes to Mindseye, the heavily criticized game from ex-Rockstar play leader Leslie Benzies, you can not only swim, but water physics does not exist either.

Why swim when you can go on non -existent water?

Which was first shared on Twitter by a content creator, water physics in Mindseye is essentially non -existent, since the character of the player can simply walk or run on top of it without consequences.

To reach the water, the creator used PC's building function, and while some pointed out that he went to a part of the map that was not intended to be used, the Creator noted that it should not be available if that was the case. But it is and this is the end result.

Not only is the actual sea in principle non -existent in terms of physics or reactions, but also swimming pools in houses and other areas. These areas have pools at inches that are extremely unrealistic if we are honest.

Simply put, the broken water physics is just one of many issues that the game is currently facing. Refunds have already been given at Playstation, a fairly rare feature from the company. Elsewhere, the developers shared a roadmap of patches to fix the game. If that wasn't enough, Walmart apparently started putting the game in clearance compartment.

It all helped to create what is easily the worst -reviewed game in 2025, and one that seems to have a lot of work to do to escape it.
