Some PS PLUS subscribers threaten to cancel their subscriptions

Some Playstation Plus Subscribers claim that they will interrupt the subscription or simply do not renew it. Playstation Plus has changed dramatically over the years. For starters, PS plus a way for players on PS3 and PSP to get free games every month, but with the PS4 generation it became a requirement for online -multiplayer. PS Plus was later divided into three levels, with subscribers that can choose between essential, extra and premium.

PS Plus Essential is the basic version of the service and comes with online -Multiplayer and monthly free games. Extra gives subscribers access to a large library with PS4 and PS5 games. And finally, premium comes with everything the previous levels have to offer, plus retro games from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP libraries. Unfortunately, the latest development seems to have received some subscribers on PS Plus, especially the extra and premium levels.

A Reddit post of Karbirsingh84 emphasized how May has traditionally been devastating for PS Plus Extra, where May 2025 is no exception to the rule. PS Plus Extra and Premium will lose 22 matches on May 20, including some fairly heavy finders. Among the games leaving PS Plus in May 2025 is Batman: Arkham Knight and Grand Theft Auto 5along with the Playstation-owned titles such as Notorious: Second sonThe Resistance: Man's falland Resistance 2. The Reddit post has several comments from people who have declared that they cancel their subscription or do not renew it because of these departures.

Some PS PLUS subscribers are not satisfied with the updates in May 2025

Some of the individuals who are not satisfied with the imminent PS plus departures are Playstation VR2 owners. Multiple Virtual Reality Games will receive the luggage compartment on May 20, including The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners games and the well -examined Before your eyes. Playstation VR2 has not been almost as popular as Sony was hoping, but being able to access some of the hardware's best games was definitely a good reason to register for PS Plus Extra for those who did spring for the headset of virtual reality.
