The chemistry that the duo shares is electric and leads to some of the most fun moments in the series. Despite his blindness, Woozie is one of the most competent characters in the series and a loyal ally to CJ through thick and thin.

To say that Michael and Trevor's friendship have been smooth sailing would be a direct lie. Trevor was a loose cannon that fired one too many times and forced Michael to fake his death to escape from Redneck's crazy discoveries.

Unfortunately, his past comes back to haunt him when Trevor catches his friend's wind, which makes them involved in a series of crazy assignments again. In the Canon Deathwish ending, they make two changed and kill everyone standing in the way and finally enjoying a pure slate when the game ends.

After proven their value, Niko and Jacob form a great friendship

Niko Bellic has a tough exterior, but his competent nature makes it easy for people to trust him. Such is the case with Little Jacob, who meets Niko when the latter picks up Slack for Roman's Cab Company.

After protecting him from a drug agreement that has gone wrong, Jacob warms up to Niko and decides to ask for his help as a accomplice over various assignments. They eventually see each other as equal and become steady friends and look at each other over several death -driven shooting games.

It's easy to see why CJ did not trust Cesar at first, considering how protective he was by his sister. However, Cesar wasted no time to earn CJ's trust, especially when he called CJ and let him know that two of his closest friends were working with crash

Although they were from different backgrounds, CJ and Cesar grew to trust each other and became steady friends during the process. At the end of the game, CJ would have had no problems giving its blessings to Kendl and Cesar's Union.

Franklin Clinton & Lamar Davis

Despite his stupidity it is clear that both Franklin and Lamar are looking up for each other

There is something with Lamar that players can't help but love, although the man can be a little too stupid for his own good. Perhaps this is why Franklin has a soft place for him, although he has always been called for problems with the state of Lamars Hijinks.
