A different goal than their friends

Course is introduced as a silent, furious character with a troubled past. The phantom group massacred the entire clan for the harvest of their unique eyes, with him as the only survivor. After personally witnessing the aftermath, including discovering the remains of his friend Pairo, Kuppika decided to devote herself to revenge his clan and disappear the phantom group.

Despite his trauma, Kuppika was to become friends again after meeting Gon, Killua and Leorio. But after approving the Hunter degree and learning, Nen doubled the course on his desire for revenge. Kurapika's bow watched the possible case in the desire for revenge that gon fell into. After the chimera ants caught dragon, Gon was deeply filled with debt and rage and blamed himself for everything that happened. His solution to overcome that guilt and pain was not to trust his friends but to turn inward and make a similar promise to what Kurapika did. The effect of his efforts was that Gon got revenge against Neferpitou, but it cost him almost everything. Gon sacrificed his future with Nen and almost died. Killua rushed to the stage and saw the aftermath, and while he was desperately doing everything he could to save his friend, the truth was that Gon he knew was essentially gone.

Even after Gon was able to make a recovery, Killua and Gon had to go their separate roads. Gon's documents made it so that he could no longer use Nen. This forced him not to be able to continue as the main character of the story and decided to return home because he and Killua no longer had the same goal.

The Hunter X Hunter Anime Take revenge goes beyond just showing the destruction of the individual as the cost of their characters. Characters who strive to be avenged at the cost of all and everything else loses their role in the story itself, forced to live with the isolation they built until they can find their way again. This way of dealing with the aftermath of revenge hits much harder than a story where the revenge -seeking hero ultimately dies. They must live with the circumstances that their actions have created, and we as the audience feel the pain of seeing the once happy dynamics they were part of being completely removed from history.
