GGG's attempt to slow down the battle in Path of Exile 2 collision with fast, deadly monsters and unsatisfactory spear skills.
Despite a large early access launch in December last year, Road for exile 2A's new Dawn of the Hunt update turns out to be quite controversial among the fans on several fronts – whether it is the approach to the player's level of power, changes in design philosophy or how these affect ARPG. Road for exile 2Dawn of the Hunt Patch Notes worried many long -lasting fans due to the abundance of Nerfer to most buildings, objects and skills in the game – not just Outliers such as Spark Archmage and State stacking. The result is that the new note feels much worse to play even after some changes that GGG has already made, and the current plan can deal with the wrong things.
Ever since the update of 0.2.0 came out, GGG has released some hotfixes and corrections to address current problems ranging from technical, which crashes and bugs, to game -related ones, such as player injuries or minion life. There are other problems that players have been true since the new Road for exile 2 Release came out, and GGG spoke to the game's general state in a post on the official forum and talked about what the studio is working on. However, the company does not look in the right direction.

PATH OF EXILE 2 HAS “MIXED” REVIEWS ON STEAM
Path of Exile's latest Steam Reviews falls to “Mixed” after the game's latest content update.
PATH OF EXILE 2'S HUNTRESS IS THE SYMPTOM TO A LARGE PROBLEM
An example comes from the leading point in the Forum Post that discusses the Huntress combinations. Road for exile 2Spear skills are unfortunate because they are specifically designed to work together and to promote the use of combinations, which can be a huge issue in ARPG where battle is often hectic. In this case, GGG wants to make the battle slow and methodical, but it struggles to achieve this with monsters being too fast and fatal. As far as the changes are concerned, GGG adds a new spear skill to enemies and generates a frenzy charge as an alternative to Parry, but the main problem remains – skills should not require a frenzy to be loaded to be playable.
Many spear skills have improved the effects when spending a frenzy charge, which is strongly leaning to generate them for buildings to feel good, but then spend too many abilities them and there are too few ways to get them. These also require combinations, which is not something that many fans are happy about. In addition, Road for exile 2Huntress handles very little damage with the spear skills, as their base values are extremely low.
Similarly, GGG's post refers complaints about Road for exile 2S slow campaign and overall games, with the task that this is usually bound to high monster life, low player injuries and areas that are too large. These are all true, rather than just one, and while Monster now has less health than they did when Dawn of the Hunt launches, player injuries are still too low and areas are still too large. But the latter does not seem to be a problem for GGG, as Forum Post dismisses this issue. Still, areas like Azak Bog or Matlan Waterways are not only massive, but also maze -like, which requires too much backtracking with too little movement speed.
The following is that the current vision for Road for exile 2 Is not exactly in line with the game's offer, in the sense that GGG wants slower battle but leaves monster untouched when it comes to injuries and speed, for example. Similar Road for exile 2The campaign requires a lot of time to complete, making it a stroke or job. The company is trying to deal with fans feedback, but based on what Devs is working on, it does not seem as if priorities are the same as fans playing the game. This can create a dissonance between expectations and reality, and it can be a bigger problem in the future.
