Apart from smaller patches to Paul and Jack-8's play style, Bandai Namco has made it clear that aggressive play is the way forward for Tekken. So if you browse through the countless discussions about the season's buffs and nerfs, you will probably miss other important information about the note. Here are the most important things you need to know.

Play data

Season 2 represents something of a new start for Tekken 8. Apart from your own saved reprises, all playback data from Season 1 is gone. This includes both downloaded and online repries.

The self -explanatory reasoning here is that season 2 reviews any data studied from Season 1 outdated. If you wanted to see some matches because of the funny costumes that your opponents had, but it's just a shame – they're gone.

Time -limited content

Tekken 8's Fight Pass has been updated and it continues to introduce time -limited content. This includes character panels, avatarskin and special offers on certain permanent articles.

Unfortunately, when these time -limited items are gone, they are gone forever. So if you want to grab the character panels, you should move on to Tekken Fight Lounge and fight against the special ghosts in there. Five ghosts are in each update, and to beat each one will unlock a new panel with lovingly made fank art.

Rank recovery

Heihachi talks about his adopted death in Tekken 8.

If you start up Tekken 8 and notice that you are at a lower rank than you used to be, you will not panic. It is simply part of the rank recovery, where your new rank is determined based on the highest rank you achieved during season 1.

These tips will help you improve your Tekken 8 -Rang.

There are also rankings over the God of destruction, previously crowning performance by a Tekken fan. Now the rank is divided into sub -rankings that go from one to seven, followed by a top ranking: God of Destruction Oateoboros, represented by an infinity symbol.

7

Point calculation

The scoring system for ranked match has also been reviewed. Here's what you need to know:

  • Beating opponents with a higher rank extra score while losing to lower ranked opponents causes you a greater point loss.

  • Bonus points are awarded only the first time you reach a new highest rank, so you can't expect to be removed and then promoted again to increase your progress.

  • You will no longer lose extra points after three losses in a row.

  • Win Streak's net du bonus points first until the Tenryu ranking and only after three wins in a row.

Pop-in play-by-games

A Tekken 8 fight with different information parts shown on the left side of the screen

Part of Tekken's appeal at the beginning of the series' life was its simplicity, but over the years the game has become more and more complicated. Tekken 8 is the most competitive -oriented game yet, with Season 2 that makes an adjustment for commentators.

In previous iterations of Tekken, including Season 1 in Tekken 8, Play-By-Play information such as combinations, pure hits and penalties was limited to exercise mode. This is no longer the case: it is now shown in Quick Match, ranked match and versus fashion. This allows you to gain knowledge about your opponents on the move and also provide information for spectators and commentators.

If you find the information about Play-by-Play distracting, you can turn it off in screen settings in the Battle status settings.

5

Practice Mode also got buffered

Paul and Nina meet each other in a training stage in Tekken 8

There is still no infinite step in Tekken 8, but Bandai Namco adds a special exercise step with a wall distance of 500 meters during season 2. You can find the new step during restart settings; It's a little difficult to access. Set up your restart position to train the stage, leave the menu and then perform the entrance that appears at the bottom of the screen to switch to the special step.

From underground rings to cruise ships to palaces, here are all 16 stages in Tekken 8 ranked and pits against each other!

This step is not available in any of the other situations and is just a playable version of the stage used for Move demonstrations. Apart from that, there are many more new measures, such as heat emphasis and side -outs, which you can assign the CPU character.

4

V-Sync for brackets

Clive makes an entrance to Tekken 8.

V-Sync was available on the PC version of Tekken 8 in Season 1, but it is only with Season 2 Patch that PS5 and Xbox Series X/S-owners can also enjoy it. This effect reduces the demolition of the screen and can be found in the graphics settings.

If you feel that the game's sophisticated graphics are causing delays in input, we recommend keeping V-Sync off. Although there will be less screen, the total performance when it comes to control will be better.

3

Chip injury for broken throws

The picture shows Clive Rosfield in his command throw a movie in Tekken 8.

Chip damage, also known as protective damage, has been a minor aspect of Tekken since the third post, although it could be switched on and off. It discourages warriors from simply standing in place and protecting without risks – even if it doesn't hit you back, it will still take some of your health. Tekken 8 made chip injury an integral part of the game, so you could recycle a certain part of chip injuries that you took as long as you did not get stuck in another combination.

During Season 1, throws had nothing to do with how chip injuries were handled, as they followed the rules in previous titles. In an attempt to stimulate throws, which were increasingly ignored in competitive play, Bandai Namco has now introduced a chip injury aspect for throws. In essence:

  • Broken throws will now treat 5 points of chip injury to your opponent.

  • If you try a throw that is broken, you will recover a point of chip injury.

Keep in mind that Whiffed throw will still open you to attacks from your opponent, so you have to decide to choose if you want to risk the long installation throwing.

Season 2 also gives many characters new features and changes entrances and effects for some existing ones. Two moves got Bandai Namco to promise an emergency:

  1. Paul's Hammer of the goods results in a guaranteed follow -up of the block.

  2. Jack-8's husband a little sound has a third hit that cannot be interrupted.

You can see the inputs for new features at any time in offline games by pausing the game and choosing a moving list.

1

Buffs in abundance

Kazuya Mishima generates dark purple and blue flash around her fists in Tekken 8.

Tekken 8's second season moves the entire game in a more aggressive direction. Almost every character has been given significant buffets, and general features have also been made more efficient. Here is a summary:

  • Homing attacks, including throws, are now more likely to suffer – even if your opponent is pages.

  • Execution windows are now looser for many features.

  • Heat -engagement now has less knock -back distance and injuries, but attacks performed in a heat state are more powerful.

Buffs makes it clear that Tekken 8 is an aggression -oriented combat game. If you want to achieve the good of destruction ouroboros, you would better practice your death.
