Insomniac must leave the MCU behind
Did we really need so many MCU costumes?
Both films are still a long time away, but Marvel fans will be happy to know that both versions of Spidey will be back to the big screen. Both MCU and animated movies have currently quit cliffhangers, and we can't wait to see what happens next.
Spider-Man turns back to action 2026 and 2027
Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man has somehow got a new start. After breaking the multivers in an attempt to save his identity, Spidey had to make the hard call and absolutely everyone to forget that he has ever existed. Not a Fingle friend or superhero colleague knows that Spider-Man has ever existed, including MJ and Down.
When it comes to miles in Spider-Verse, after trying to stop his cannon event, Miles was being chased by Miguel O'Hara and a bunch of other spindlers over the multivers. But he is in a mirror universe where the villains own everything and that the mile of the universe is actually ProWler.
While the Spider-Verse series will continue where it remained, the MCU version has essentially received a soft restart. With MCU's current downward trend, Disney hopes to knock it out of the park, especially since it will build up to Avengers: Doomsday. The new start, or a brand new day is exactly what the film series needed after the trilogy. We might see another time at MCU's Spidey.
As for why in addition to Spider verse, it will release so far into the future, producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persicheti and Justin K. Thompson said: “We know how important this franchise is to so many people around us. We just couldn't drive it back. So we decided we had to take time to make sure that we have it right.
