Characters that were killed prematurely

Demonsklayer is an anime full of tragic deaths because of the world's nature. With the demons walking around, no one is really sure, and many characters have died far earlier than they should have as a result.

These characters were taken from fans way too soon, and some definitely had potential left in them to continue further into the story, whether it was like a human or a demon.

Shinobu Kocho

Insectshashira

Shinobu Kocho is one of Hashira, especially the Hashira insect. This character, although physically weak, has shown that her intelligence and speed can more than can compensate for it. During the Infinity Castle arch, she is placed face to face with her sister's murderer, Doma. While she definitely wanted to take him down, even though it meant going down with him.

Shinobu showed great skills and techniques against Doma, but in the end it was nothing when she was defeated and consumed by him, even though it was always her plan. Her body poisoned the judge who allowed the others to decapitate him. Overall, Shinobus came to death just too soon and it would have been interesting to see her fight Doma longer or get to the fight against Muzan.

Muichiro

Fog Hashira

Muichiro was Mist Hashira in Demon Slayer and a rather loved character in the series. Muichiro was the youngest member of Hashira, who was only 14 years old, and despite that he was definitely one of the most gifted with huge potential, which was clear by the fact that he was one of the few characters who alone could take down a member of the upper ranked demons.

During the last bow DemonsklayerBut he met a pretty awful end. He was put face to face with the most powerful demon after Muzan, Kokushibo. Against him, Muichiro had no chance. Muichiro suffered fatal injuries and did not come to the fight against Muzan. Muichiro definitely died too young and was only 14 years old, and it would have been fantastic to see him meet the demon king Muzan.

Nakime

The new upper ranking 4

Nakime is a powerful demon who never had to show off its full potential. After the defeat of Hanatengu during the events in Swordsmith Village Arc, Nakime was made to be the latest demon in Upper Rank 4 and for good reasons.

Her blood demon art was extremely powerful and was able to control everything in her creation, Infinity Castle. Her powers are so important that a whole bow is named after it, and this castle provides protection for the demons from the sun.

Under Infinity Castle Arc, she easily manages to hold in the distance Hashiras, Mitsuri and Obanai. She is just incapable when Yoshiro sneaks up on her and controls her, which causes Muzan to try to regain control of her, but to no avail. His last resort is to kill her. Nakime had a lot of unused potential that could have been shown.

Kaigaku

The new upper ranking 6

Kaigaku was a character that learned thunder breathing with Zenitsu by the former Thunder Hashira himself, Jigoro Kuwajima. Before that, he was one of the orphaned children that Gyomei took care of at the temple, but he was the one who betrayed them by allowing demons to enter the temple. He would betray his people once after, when he betrayed the demon's Slayers and joined the demons when he met Kokoushibo. This led to Jigoro committing suicide. He would become the new upper ranking 6 with the defeat of the former upper rank 6 Gyutaro and Daki.

However, Kaigaku would face a quick end at the beginning of Infinity Castle Arc. He was facing his former fellow student in Thunder Breathing, Zenitsu. Zenitsu quickly handled him, and fans never got to see the full potential of this demon.

Kanae Kocho

The flower hashira

Kanae Kocho is the late flower Hashira, which also happens to be the older sister of Shinobu Kocho, the insect Hashira, and adoptive sister to Kanao. Not much has seen of Kanae because of her early death against one of Demon Slayer's most powerful and dangerous demons, the upper rank 2 demon, Doma.

Kanae could fight against Doma until the sunrise and even managed to be eaten by him. However, the injuries she had suffered were too much to bear for her and she died in Shinobus's arms. Fans would definitely have loved to see more of Kanae, but unfortunately she died way too soon.

Rengoku kyojuro

Flammen Hashira

Without doubt a character that was removed prematurely from Demonsklayer Fans are Flame Hashira himself, Rengoku Kyojuro. This beloved character is the first Hashira fans sees Die, when Kyojuro lost his life when he had to fight against the demon, Akaza, Akaza, Akaza.

While Koojuro was strong, he was too weak compared to an upper rank demon of the level of Akaza. Kyojuro suffered a fatal injury and died shortly after. It would definitely have been interesting to see how Kyojuro would have contributed to the Demon Slayer history if he had survived.
