Repo: 8 beginner tips

Repo can be extremely chaotic, especially when you are new, so here are some tips to help!

If you are familiar with Lethal Company, you may be wondering if Repo is just a copycat, or if there is something you should try. In this article we share a brief review and some other details that help you make the decision to buy and play this game with your friends.

Review

Fight with rubbish monsters in repo with a frying pan.

Repo is a co-op horror survival game that can be played solo or with up to five friends. You play one of many semiboes who work for someone named Taxman. Nobody knows for sure who the taxman really is, but they only reward the most difficult workers and have no patience for slackers.

At each level, your job is to collect valuables from the entire map to turn into the taxman. You have a target or quota that you must clear to move on to the next step.

While looking for these articles, there are scary monsters like spawn on the map that can and will kill you. So not only do you have to fill your quota with as many articles as you can (for the more articles you find the more money you earn), but you also have to survive.

Repo is a fun, stupid and scary experience with fantastic graphics, original monsters and creative map designers. For the past two weeks I have played, I have laughed so hard that I cried. I have woken my family many times and scream when a monster chases me.

From the scary surrounding sounds to the soft dings on the large glass bottle, it is clear that the developers love what they do and have been aware of details. Even the addition of physics to the robots, objects and monsters adds a realism level to this stupid survival scare.

The developers keep the Players of Repo updated with their entertaining weekly update videos and share with fans some of their ideas and plans for Repo's future.

Time expenses

Looking for valuables while pressing the carriage in Repo

There is not enough data in a long time you can expect to spend in the game. That said, the game actually has no end. As long as you and your friends continue to survive, you will continue to go on levels.

Much of your time will be spent looking for valuables, such as spawn randomly and can be in different places and hide from or fight against monsters. Maps at a higher level are likely to take longer as you have several extraction points to clear.

I myself have about 50 hours in the game so far, but you can easily spend countless hours gathering, upgrading your statistics and fighting against monsters, just to see how far you can get.

Cost

Unlike the item in the above screenshot, Repo is not an expensive game. On just $ 9.99 in the Steam Store, it is definitely worth at least trying. If you don't stop the game, at the end of the day you only spent ten dollars.

Since this game is currently in an early edition, it is unknown yet whether the price will change when it comes out of early release.

Funny horror while you're rough around the edges – clean darling

Nothing unites a group of you and your friends like screaming for fear when you try to stick to your expensive goodies!

Sometimes I had good luck with the mechanics; Other times I was lost in handling some creatures. Overall, it is a lot of fun when you get over the learning curve.

Fun, but play with friends! – Harry Alston

Repo is the most fun I've had with a co-op horror game since Lethal Company. The wide range of monsters keeps every run fresh and completely scary. I didn't think I would be afraid of the game, but it turns out even strange drawn Blobby characters and evil little dolls are scary. Even when you start mastering your extracts, the game continues to throw new ridiculousness at you.

Creative, funny and scary. – Connie Watson

Every time I start up this game to play, whether it is solo or with friends, I am completely blown away by the creativity and passion that devs has put in Repo. The creativity of the maps, the adorable small semiboes, even the scary monsters, all give something special. I have spent so many hours laughing that I have given myself a headache, but I have also spent the same time filled with anxiety because I only knew that the mantle or the hunter was waiting around the corner. To say that I have been obsessed is an understatement.
